My pressure gauge was bouncing all over the place prior to adding an additional 4 qts. So usually if I'm in 3rd gear let's say and I'm cruising at 4k, it'll stay around 100 psi. Under the same conditions, it would jump all around between 25-100 and not hold a steady pressure

For a noisy valvetrain, it really sounds like shit here. I let the car warm up to idling temps to check the oil. I'm still a full qt shy and now it sounds a spun bearing. Monday can't come soon enough for my test.
