Not sure about your insurance but with mine even with the windshield clause I pay for they will not replace the ws unless the crack is bigger than a dollar bill for what you have (chips) they would just repair so that being said you have 2 choices pay out of pocket or “hope” the chip somehow...
So with the G3X the boost doesn’t come on until north of 4K rpm? This is the stuff I’m trying to figure out, with the lack of torque from these coyotes I want as much tq down low as I can get, same as you will just be a fun street car
That’s the way I was leaning but bits of this thread have me confused, people made it sound like the boost doesn’t come on with the ess until it’s screamin well I don’t want that it’s mainly going to be a fun/scary street car I doubt it’ll ever see a track I just don’t have time for that
If you’re washing it multiple times per week nothings going to last. A good combo I’ve used for a few years now is jescar power lock + sealer with collinite 845 over that
Mines way behind was supposed to be here last week been “in production” since March 16th, last I knew thanks to someone that works at the plant for helping me out found the car sitting in a holding lot buried out in the middle somewhere with no decals on it
Honestly if it were me for the amount that’s in there I’d dump it and start fresh throw your 3.2 of friction mod in first then fill with gear oil but that’s me
I checked that place out and aeh tire rack and discount tire direct was a touch cheaper plus the one you mentioned was doing something weird/shady with tax trying to charge me $157 in tax when it should be about $96 ish
exactly to each their own I’ve built high hp diesels for years been around them 20 years and have seen first hand many many times what running no filters does to the chargers now maybe gassers moving a lot less air it’s not as bad but I’ve seen to many first hand to ever run without a filter...
It’s a tough call but coming from the diesel world with large turbos and massive amounts of air moved you don’t want to run around with no filter once in a while with a guard for track days won’t kill ya but on a normal basis dusting those wheels will essentially be sand blasting them warring...
Found a video that explained and showed how to do it it does seem simple and straight forward, I may do some testing for a little while just to see where it’s at and how consistent being it’s the only station anywhere near me makes me a bit nervous might be better off with a flex tune I’ll talk...
