There's some worthwhile improvements in the specs. DI with the increase in compression ratio bring more power and economy.
Magnaride shocks would be a winner as would an active exhaust.
I love it when a car company makes multiple detailed mechanical changes for improved overall performance...
All engines have an oil filter for this purpose.
Any oil captured by a catch can (of any variety) won't have brought any 'crap' or metal particles with it. Catch cans are only to prevent oil becoming part of the air / fuel combustion mixture in stock set ups.
I also have Ford Performance, but I haven't attached it to the engine with the bracket. It seems to sit happy in place suspended by the oil lines like other catch cans do.
Then I just unclip the two oil lines and pour out the oil from the lower collection chamber. No mess, no risk of lost bolts.
That's fantastic! Able to upgrade tune as you do any changes for reasonable cost and presumably no down time - absolute gold.
Actually means there's no reason to delay, very smart David.
Expect a call soon...
I thought I had it early on, but then did some testing on another road and decided it was the (first) road and not the car that was the problem.
Interestingly the first road that proved to be the problem is relatively new. On reflection our other car also has a slight vibration on this...
Thank you everyone for you constructive replies. Seems 1 7/8 is the best bet regardless NA or FI.
We have a few RHD options for headers here in Australia but not the range you guys have of course.
From headers back we're ok and can use any system. It's just a matter of finding one that suits...
You're referring to the SP089 fronts and SP082 rears and I can highly recommend these;
Next I'd also like the cradle lock out and a few other BMR bits.
So no negatives for 1 7/8?
I will do mild exhaust (I'd like no louder than stock ideally but reasonable flow) and re-tune with at least K&N filter; may do revised CAI although not convinced this is necessary.
If this is not your car / picture, it is really quite serious Yuvi.
It's Plagiarism.
It's one thing to get flamed on this forum but do this at school, university or the work place and there will be serious and potentially legal consequences.
You've obviously got ambition - that's good, but...
