This place sucks balls on many fronts, including smog & CARB.
One thing I've heard that works for some is if you have a biz, an LLC or such, that is out of state, you can have your company own the car and can get away without smog and CA sales tax.
But check with your tax guy before taking...
I was kicking this around, but after that quote Fred, I'm not even going to call my carrier. Prolly stick with my original plan to go to Charlotte next year and enroll in the racing school there. I can thrash someone else's car. :sunglasses:
Todd, would you just fucking stop already?
I don't need any more help buying shit for my car. I've wanted these tips since I first saw the M1. Now I know where to get them and how much they're going to cost me. Sheesh. š§
And it's not the first mod I've installed, thanks to you.
Just...
I have a 16' Crestliner with a Honda 75 OB. Bought it new in 2000. Get it out a couple times a month year round. It sits next to the PP2 in the garage when not on the water.

I use these shots, 4oz bottles with a tank. They're suppose to give 2-3 octane boost per 15gal.
Use them to get to 93ish, when filling with 91.
Todd,
I have not heard any ping since getting the kit/tune. But I've only got a few hundred miles on it since the switch.
I add a Boostane shot with every tank. I can only get 91 here in NorCal. Shell V Power when filling up.
If it's the car you want, hang tight. A year from now, you'll wish you did. You're likely not going to get something better by throwing in the towel.
Deep breath, exhale. Repeat. Play some good music. Have a cocktail.
The question I would have liked the answer to is WTF have they done for you at this point that warrants 22 hrs of labor. And they still don't know what's wrong.
I could speculate, but thatās a question for one of the guys that run E85.
I added the FP tune with the GT350 TB & intake. Still has a warranty and got some modest HP/TQ gains.
