In the Stereo Info sticky thread, it lists the rear speaker sizing as 6.5". On Crutchfield.com, they list the sizing as 6.75". I was wondering if anyone has installed 6.75" speakers in the rear, or if anyone who has cut the stock speakers and used them as brackets for 6.5" speakers, would be...

I got them directly from bumperplugs.com. 9/32" is the ideal size for the holes, I had to use a 17/64" drill bit and moved it ever so slightly from side to side to enlarge the hole to 9/32". They fit like a glove.

Removed ugly front license plate bracket and installed bumper plugs:

I'd say bumper plugs are your best option. I'm completely satisfied with mine:

Modifications: Dealer installed license plate bracket delete -Install was a breeze. Unscrewed the bracket, redrilled the two holes to enlarge them just a bit, and popped the bumper plugs in. Paint matches perfectly. $28 was a good value with all things considered...
