Thanks for taking the time to do a write up and post pics of your install, Jaime. Was talking to Dave about this today. Working on a tire setup for my Air Lift and was wondering if this kit AND the rear adjustable camber arms are NEEDED for proper set up. Will this kit suffice? I know there's an...
Got an answer from Air Lift and wanted to post the information....Air Lift kits (Kit #78521, front application) designed for the S550 include a shorter sway bar end link, which is 5.9" center to center. So unless the aftermarket end links are shorter than OEM or can match Air Lift's 5.9" end...
Anyone with Air Lift running Steeda, BMR or other adjustable sway bar end links? Wanted to know because I failed to compare the OEM front end link with the one provided in the Air Lift kits. I do remember, however, that the kits came with front end links only. Any one remember if the Air Lift...
Just installed the G-Trac and IRS Subframe braces 1 week ago. I've noticed a huge difference in handling. Car feels more planted and unified. No noticeable increase in NVH. Car is noticeably stiffer, but not in a harsh, annoying way. My car is a daily driver and hasn't lost any of it's...
Shawn, thanks for the tips and links on both the grill and airbox. Appreciate your attitude and desire to pass along information on modifications that work for you. Was looking for a new grill, but really like the angles of the stock one versus the RTR. I think I'll try out both mods.
wildcatgoal, I appreciate the suggestion. Gave it a shot. The noise has lessened, volume wise, but now it sounds rotational. Before, it was only reproducible with hard right turns, when weight transferred to the driver's side. However, I was backing out of a parking spot, with the wheel turned...
Well, with the help of :hail: db252, the TSS OPG's, CS and ATI damper are done(still waiting for the Whipple to arrive). While we were up in the car's guts, we decided to do the Boss 302 primary tensioners, MMR secondary tensioner bracket and the MMR lightweight water pump pulley. Didn't take...
Thank you very much. This thing took longer to install than I would expect. Ran into several issues and had to run to the hardware store because it wasn't shipped with all the hardware. Hope this thing is worth it.
Appreciate the assistance ForTehNguyen.
Nope! I know this is an old thread, but just tried to install my G-Trac and the frame knockouts/flashing won't allow the spacers to be fed into position.
How do you fix this? What did you end up doing?
LOL, guess your run in's with "Jay" and airbags are strictly coincidental. Name was common in the 70's and short for Jason. We do get around.
As I stated, I'm not a suspension expert. So, NO, I'm not sure about #2. maybe another member with a better understanding can chime in and...
Accidental, huh?. I'm on Air Lift 3P, which is digital with Bluetooth. Stock Performance Pack 19" wheels and tires. I am IN NO WAY a suspension expert, but from my experience installing my system and reading the installation manuals, here's what I can say...
1. My suspension is stock...
Stunning!:headbang: Velgen, when you post pics can you please post tire sizes. Thank you. I'm assuming this is the standard Velgen offsets - +32 Front +45 Rear?
