You might want to google blackmailing laws before you try to pull it as a "negotiating" tactic. If the text bothered you that much, let the manager know and get a new sales person. You are more likely to get a better deal that way if you show the dealership you're willing to still do business...
You dont get a build date until 5-6 days before your car actually goes into production (a window sticker gets generated in cotus).
Up until that point, the dates are still considered an estimate and not locked in. For example, when you get a VIN you can contact your dealer (or FordService)...
Have you contacted FordService (Rachel) here on the forums? She should be able to give you an estimated build week. Then about 5-6 days before that week you should see a window sticker appear in Cotus, underneath the picture of your 'stang where all the options are listed. After my window...
In 2012 there were roughly 254 million registered vehicles. Also, there are other sites reporting 193 million licensed citizens (able to drive).
Lets say this Norm (and whoever else thinks cars shouldn't come with luxuries like seats), your driving history without DRLs is SUPERB, THE BEST, OUT...
If you can view your window sticker, then you can see the exact blend date (in the top/top left section of the sticker). The blend date is when it makes it to the assembly line and gets built.
For example, my blend is shown as: 120150209 (2/9/15)
It looks like the brandmotion sensor is a single laser beam. So in instances where a curb might be lower or higher - or in the video you posted above, if curb in that parking lot isnt centered between the lines, then you the sensor wouldnt pick it up (but Im pretty sure that equates to about 3%...
Is there anything else (i.e. drive shafts) that need to be replaced on the v6 when adding on a procharger? Just curious - sometimes throwing on a supercharger or w/e doesnt just mean that part. Then you have to account for a tune, CAI (probably not a need). So the parts list starts to get...
I also have a blend date of 2/9/2015.
EDD: 03/02/2015
Ordered back in mid-December. Got a VIN on the 15th (like everyone else). I am also in the "deliver by rail" group. No biggie
Its been mentioned several times in various locations on these forums that the PP summer tires are useless in sub-40 (possibly even slightly warmer) temperatures. Some people have reported (non life threatening) accidents when they lost traction in the lower temperatures with those tires...
My DORA has a priority code of 10. Ordered mid-December and got my VIN when they started assigning new VINs after the post-holiday start-up. I think the secret was to order in January ;)
VINs are assigned on Thursdays (today). On 1/15 the VINs all got assigned in the evening of that day - so check back tonight to make sure there weren't any updates on that. fingers crossed
edit: Also, what priority is on your DORA?
