Not sure about ā18-ā19 GT but there is power to be made by varying cam timing on earlier models. Iāve been learning HP Tuners and getting trained on it. You can see an increase in MAF lb/min by making adjustments to cam timing. Itās not just moving power band. Iām sure the big name tuners know...
I can completely understand where you are coming from. Itās one thing to say you have XXX HP but if you canāt use it driving around it isnāt as much fun as having a level of power that you can actually put down and have fun with. My oldest son is 18 and him and his buddies always talk about how...
can you get to the upper header nuts from under the car? I searched and read several threads but didnāt get a definitive answer. I read where people using jackstands reach the upper nuts from up top but not sure about access when using a lift. Not sure how to accomplish that if you have your car...
Saw a best of 47.5 with 18 IM, 47lb, PMAS, Rob Shoemaker tune at 7200 RPM. Intake Manifold is out being ported and about to add LTs so we will see what that produces.
I have the exact headers but have not installed them just yet. I have a Magnaflow Resonated Tru-X X-pipe and the inlet on it is for the factory exhaust. I have ordered a 3" ID to 2.25" ID reducer from eBay. If you search for that you fill find it pretty easily. They ship from Kentucky and are...
on your LTs, I ordered angled bungs instead of the normal ones (oops) and was wondering if it will hurt to still use them above the other ones just angled back toward the primaries? They would still be angled down, but also back toward the primaries too. Thanks for any info.
Like to know what you learn about the bolts. Iām in the same situation. Seems like many of the headers come with 2 different size bolts because you could have either one.
Do these headers have the power spike in the collector? Have you installed them yet? If so, any issues like having to dent primary to clear steer shaft?
NGauge does work with HPT. OP doesnāt want to have to purchase a tune device and wants to buy just a tune and load it via HPT software if I understand him correctly. Not sure if that will work. Maybe he can if he has the MPVI or MPVI2.
Do you have an MPVI or MPVI2? I suppose if a tuner sent you a locked tune you could write it but not 100% sure. Maybe it isnāt any different than loading on an NGauge and then writing it. Rob Shoemaker at PBD writes tunes via HPT, you can hit him up. He writes outstanding tunes.
Madsedan, I experienced the same thing a couple years ago when I was looking for a used Mustang. I expanded my search area and found a 2015 Mustang GT Premium with the color and options I wanted that was 18 months old and only had 3200 miles. Completely unmolested and CPO and $9000 below MSRP...
I donāt have an ā18 GT but I do have this Magnaflow Tru X Resonated X pipe on my ā15 GT with Pypes Street Pro Axle Back mufflers and the sound is exactly what I was looking for, a smooth, deep muscle car sound that has some volume when you hammer it but not obnoxiously loud. Very pleased with...
Keep practicing. Bump up tire pressure in front tires and drop pressure in rears to about 25. You will have to get a feel for how hard you can launch. Probably canāt just floor it out of the hole. Play with rear tire pressure and launch techniques and find what works best for you. I also have a...
I have BMR 81s up front and 88 (drag springs) in the back. I recently replaced my factory Pirellis with Firestone Indy 500s and I had camber that could not be adjusted out. The guy doing it worked at a frame shop and knew what he was doing and he showed me his adjustment was maxed out and he...
