Hmmm. If the stock pulley is 11 lbs, I wonder why I have only 8.8 lbs? Mine started life as a Stage-1 kit. My last dyno was with the stock airbox. My exhaust is long tubes and stock mufflers only, no cats or resonators.
I know that long tubes, if designed to scavenge effectively, with a free...
Mine has been driving like a dream on the street, with the open-air configuration, in the form of the Modified PMAS CAI. She's going on the dyno Thursday at 10 am MST. I'll post the results when I get back. I also need to get the boost numbers from the dyno so I can see whether I have enough...
In my case, there was, with my ram air induction when in motion, stock air box or not. That's how it was explained to me by both Lund and VMP. For supercharged Coyotes to drive normally on the street, they need to be pulling through the TB, without any pushing help whatsoever. Previously...
Finally got the CAI and installed it yesterday. Going to try to dyno next week. Did some data logging for Lund and will likely receive any adjustments, if needed, in a new tune file on Monday.
An interesting discovery for me was that, by using the modified PMAS 120mm CAI, I had to eliminate...
This is my solution with Pypes Off-Road long tubes. My car is not lowered. I have to drive slowly over extra high-speed bumps. Other than that, clearance is no real issue. Hope this helps...
Thanks for the quick reply, Mike. I probably didn't make myself clear.
The Eddy's base opening is larger than 103mm. I don't know by how much. I didn't measure it when I had it exposed. For the Edelbrock Stage-I kit, Edelbrock supplies their own adapter that allows the stock 80mm TB to bolt...
Hi Mike. When the time comes, I will want to upgrade the TB for my Eddy blower on a 2018 GT to a 103mm or something in that range. Can you port match one of your throttle bodies to the Eddy base bolt pattern for their own 103mm TB? The Eddy TB is out of stock with a 4-month wait time and...
None. I'm going to eliminate the brake aspirator connection and connect directly from the brake vacuum booster reservoir to the fitting at the front of the manifold. For the driver's side PCV, I'm going to be using a breather filter. As you can see in the first pic, I haven't removed the...
Latest update. I got my Ford Racing adapter plate for the 80mm to 87mm throttle body upgrade back from the machine shop. Remember, the throttle body side of the adapter is about 87.5mm and the manifold side of the adapter is about 82.5mm. The machine shop got rid of the extra 5mm so that I...
I have a question about the necessity of the brake aspirator. I'm enlarging my MAF tube and the larger rubber tube doesn't have any holes for the driver's side PCV and the brake aspirator line. I'm going to be using a breather filter for the PCV, but what do I do with the open end of the brake...
E85 will come eventually. Will probably need bigger injectors than the 56's though. I'm getting 91 and 100 tunes for now. I was double-checking my measurements this morning and discovered that the Edelbrock adapter is actually 90mm in diameter on the stock throttle body side, 90.5mm to be...
I'm in the middle of going to the Bullitt/Mach-1 87mm digital throttle body on my forced induction 2018 A10. I found a 120mm CAI at Juggernaut Performance made specifically for the Edelbrock 2650 TVS.
The Eddy was designed for the Edelbrock 103mm throttle body and has an adapter for the stock...
I haven't received the modified PMAS yet. Juggernaut should be shipping out today. I was going to need an adjusted tune for the 87mm throttle body anyway, but the PMAS is a 120mm MAF tube and it will require further tuning adjustment. I'll be doing both at the same time so it will be easier...
Nevermind. I think that I found the answer to my question. Juggernaut Performance makes a modified PMAS solution with a 120mm MAF housing to connect directly to the Edelbrock 103mm throttle body. I can make the throttle body opening connect to the 87mm unit without any leaks.
