Since you only loosen one hood bolt to install our system there should be no alignment issues. If something was touching under the bracket or struts it would push the hood up and not down. I have a feeling this gap was there before you installed our QuickLIFT system and you are just now...

Honestly, I'm not sure. Since they copied everything else from our design, they probably copied our gas spring length as well. Our logo on our gas spring is a sticker, so you can always peel it off if you want to go "stealth".

No, our hood QuickLIFT system is attached directly to the hood hinge and has no force on the hood when in the closed position. Unfortunately our system will not solve any "hood hop" issues.

Yes, removal of the gas spring is easy. However, if you are going to remove your battery cover frequently we recommend cutting a small slit so removal of the gas spring is not necessary.

No, these will NOT cause any issues with the hood closing correctly. Since you are only loosening one hood bolt to add our bracket you are not affecting the factory alignment.
