Awesome to see a car collection like that, really for us who grew up around the late 80s/90s. Jay Leno has an amazing collection as well, but half the cars look like museum pieces than something I want to drive.
Every company has a subcompact nowadays to be competitive. Honda for instance takes a huge chunk of sales with both its compact (civic) and subcompact (fit). Ford is not going to sit around and let that happen without a fight.
I hope that's an optical illusion for magnetic. I was hoping guard would be darker than that.
This auto show is going to be very interesting, there are a lot of potential Mustang rivals in the low $30-40K range that will also be there. Just to name a few: Subaru will premiere the STI, BMW...
Guess 3300 was too hopeful.... Would've put it near C7 territory in GT form. But edmunds has the GT estimated at 3700. Ouch.... That might be a deal breaker if true. Still going to be researching other options: next sti, BMW x35i (new and used), brz sti if it happens, etc
I really hope that is the case. I'll be following the '13/14 models to see if any common issues come up. Good thing is when owners say the transmission is working like it's supposed to, it's a much better unit than the older Tremecs.

Biggest Pro: Powertrain- Ford still improving the awesome 5.0.
Biggest con: Powertrain- Seems Ford will still be using the Getrag MT82 6-spd manual transmission, which has been documented with multiple issues since it's introduction.
