    I can't say it for sure, but I have the same feeling, I don't think mine is running flat around any RPM but the exhaust note has changed and power seems to be less.

    I haven't figured it out yet, for sure not painted, is either wrapped or plasti dipped. looking at the texture I would say plasti dip.
