I was thinking along the same lines.
A guy that orders a GT with PP is specifically asking for and paying for whatever additions Ford can provide to give that GT an increased level of performance—to go faster/stop sooner/corner better than a regular non-GT—ALL THE TIME.
I don't think...

Pretty much represents my thinking on the subject...

My estimated delivery date also just suddenly changed—from 12/06/2014 (yesterday!) to
01/04/2015—this morning. Incredible disappointment to be greeted with this news at
5:00am on a Monday morning. I was told some time ago by my Sales rep that their Dealer tracking info had my scheduled build...
Many share that opinion, but I was impressed with the following comparo—which redeemed the Pirellis vs the Pilot Super Sports: [ergo: I'm A-OK now with Ford's choice of the P Zero's for my soon-to-be-built GT with PP—check especially the "handling predictability" and "overall track rating"]...
Basic info like this little piece on the nature of motor oil is of great benefit to guys like myself, and your taking the time to explain it is most appreciated.
For the past few years I've been subscribing to Bimmer magazine. Mike Miller writes a tech-help column. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things automotive with respect to BMW's. His columns over these past several years frequently mentioned how BMW's have shifted their thinking as to...
No VIN yet for a June 05 order is definitely a bitch.
Waiting is a paradigmatic Ball-Breaker.
Finally getting your VIN will still mean more waiting—but at least you won't continue to feel like the Invisible Man doing so...
After months of a frozen Cotus screen—finally, finally—got my VIN this morning.
On Order [July 15, 2014]:
2015 [300A] GT/Ingot Silver

Update @ 4:06PM EST—my Sales Rep just replied to my inquiry about a build date:
"Our tracking shows that...
Your assessment confirms my expectation about "normal" seats—they just never seem to have sufficient stiffness and solid support and therefore become a literal pain in de arse—as well as the back—during extended driving excursions. (I can sit comfortably at my desk in a well-designed Aeron chair...
.
True enough,—the big Brembos on the Performance Package are no doubt gonna
provide phenomenal braking, and extra gauges are always welcome, but the biggest reason that led me to shell out for the PP is the Torsen differential. Vernon Gleasman was a genuine mechanical genius and his...
Hey Mike—I think I know how your priority mysteriously went from 19 to 01:
I asked my sales rep last week to see if there was anything that could be done so that I might see my order [of July 15] get scheduled sooner rather than later. Emails to the Ford rep resulted in the rep saying that he'd...

"Ford should be proud that their attempts to attract buyers like me paid off. For every Mustang purist who complains about the lack of solid axle and non-muscular styling, there are probably 2 people like me who would have never bought the old Mustang, but will now..."
Right on.
I...
From all that I've read on this Forum I do, in fact, agree with you. I believe the Ford Rep in this case was offerring a response aimed at soothing the feathers of my Dealer—a rather small dealer.
That said, I'm certainly pleased to see my Priority Code changed to 01!
I sent my sales agent an email a few days ago quoting a Mustang Forum member's posting that he had already gotten his VIN and scheduled build date, while my order was still stuck "In Processing"—despite having been placed two months earlier. My sales agent showed this to the Boss—who in turn...
I agree that for carrying while driving—a shoulder holster is excellent and will work well with both revolvers and autos. But also good—depending on barrel length—is the less-frequently seen cross-draw holster. And I think that even the so-called "Mexican-carry" [i.e., just sticking the pistol...
My response exactly. Info like this from Mustangchief should go a long way towards ameliorating the disappointments of those who—like myself—have ordered months ago and remain stuck In Processing while knowing that others with later orders are now much closer to seeing their cars actualized...
