I just asked my tuner and he ran it in 3rd?!(I assumed it was 5th)…..should I get him to run it 4th?

Mines running the 3.73 gears so 5th (manual) would be the 1:1 gear to run in

185km/h

He used 5th gear and it was on a Bapro Dyno so I measured it at the shaft

Yup full brand new 3” system with headers and hi-flow cats

For whatever reason mine in stock form was about 30rwkw less that what I was expecting compared to advertised/expected stock numbers….but after the tune my Shaft HP peaked at 500 at just over 7000rpm for a rwhp of 400…..while I was hoping for more the difference is night and day….waaaaaay more...

UPDATE - pulled the traction control fuse out an it now pulls past 6k! So far made 280rwkw at 6480…..time for a revision and then I’ll be asking it pulls to 7k!! To be continued……

Just got home from a quick run and the engine light is now on!! Ran the OBD again and I’m now getting P0420 and P0430 codes meaning the exhaust HASN’T been tuned properly to the engine!!

Ok so I ran my OBD2 to see if it brings up anything. this is what it showed…..

I’ve just watched a YouTube video about the ‘valet mode’ and from what was explained I don’t think mines in that cos mine came up with 2 admin keys only

I’ve booked it back in to have another tune unloaded and the car retuned….so hopefully the new tuner will figure out the problem…..sounds great but doesn’t go any faster 😒

234 was the stock rwkw and 256 was the exhaust and tune rwkw…..not even close to proper stock numbers!!
