G3x weights around 42lbs and makes good power.
But nothing wrong with procharger the crank thing isn’t an issue. I’ve seen just stock , turbo etc cars snap crank as one with a centrifugal
I highly doubt the blades aren’t spinning, bet it has something to do with the bypass as previously mentioned.
I’d run far very far from that shop. Especially if they dyno the car and it only made 400 and thought that was acceptable.
At that level you should be good to go. I would recommend a sticker tire , for the street nitro r2 is great.
I’ve been in stock everything besides the supercharger and make 750-800 whp and it’s been great .
Guess depends on where you live most shop rates are 80-110 here.
Most shops should be able to perform the task faster than what the book is that’s where the money is.

Yes sir it is , if I had the choice to make same power and they cost the same. One kit weights 80lbs the other weights 40lbs I’m going to choose the lighter kit . Especially on the front of the car.
