I just realized, I'm talking about my (just purchased but not yet received) 2019 GT350R, and this is a 2020 GT500 thread. Sorry for the confusion. Can anyone who already has a 2019 GT350/R see if you've got a FENG?
Actually, for anyone who has already taken possession of a 2019, can you find a FENG in your trunk? It should look like a small mini-amp piggy-backed onto the main system amp? Disconnect it from the system amp and see if there is a difference WOT crossing 6k
This active noise cancellation made bile come up my mouth.
Same thing happened with the Focus RS. At least we found that there was a dedicated physical module that generated the fake engine noise. The forum members got to calling it the Fake Engine Noise Generator. Once we all knew what it...
Just a thought ... we all want cooling air blown into the bell/hat, where it will be diverted into the rotor vanes and then blown out the outer perimeter of the friction ring, cooling the disc. But that’s assuming the bell is built the way a normal competition bell is built: solid. These SHW...
Have run both ST47 and ST43 on my GT500. They both wear exceptionally well and both treat rotors amazingly well (much better than PFCs in fact). Like CSL said, ST43 has smoother engagement, which leads to easier modulation. ST47 has absolutely incredible bite, but also great modulation for...
Getting caught up with your build now honeybadger . .. looks fantastic. I don't like the metal fin idea. I would rather make the fins out of Kydex or ABS in case they got damaged from track debris (exactly what a bunch of us did on the Focus ST forums, which worked great).
Dedicated ducting...
Reliable quoted me 2700.
Jay Leno special Intercity quoted me a surprisingly low 1995!
Ultimately decided to go with Advantage Auto Transport, have gotten a couple of referrals/recommendations to use him, they seem to have a good reputation, and I got a personal phone call from the owner...
Thanks, unfortunately I think I am giving up on the trip and having the car shipped. I would end up being the sole traveler on the journey (was going to do it with my son, but turns out he can't come). Would have figured out all the other logistics to make it happen to be able to do a road...
Sorry I posted the same questions in the other thread then saw Rick's thread and just figgered I'd read all the suggestions above!
I initially wanted to have a great road trip driving it back to Sac, but several limitations are now pushing me to ship it:
- I only have 2-3 days to get back home...
if I had to guess, I'd say the KR013 is the magnetic (based on the orientation of the ceiling tiles and columns in the background above the dash from that picture and where the car is located in the showroom)
@zzrat stupid question, but which chassis number is the magnetic and which car number is the oxford white? I still don't know how to decipher all the info on these window stickers and blend dates and codes. just curious which car is the KR013 and which car is the KR039
I don’t know any of the details for this shipper, if he takes other cars or just mine, I stopped asking questions. Once I heard the price I shrieked like a girl and hid in the closet.
Thanks, I’ve been seriously considering shipping. I’ve watched your video a few times months ago and now look what you’ve done you made me buy one!!
What shipper did you use? And would you recommend again? Dealer’s recommended shipper is charging $1.30/mi which comes out to $2800, which is...
Great advice, didn't consider that until now.
I too am thinking about driving mine home to Sacramento. Would make an awesome road trip across the heart of America. And I actually have a business trip to TN scheduled in a few weeks that I can divert to Ft. Wayne to in order to pick up the car...
