Funny, I went to a Ford dealership today to put my name on the Focus RS list and I had this same thought to myself while sitting in a base GT manual. I'm still torn between getting the RS (providing I like it enough when details are out) or a GT. I may be one of the few who actually prefers...
I use this to dry my ride...works better than you can imagine. Filtered air, powerful, easy to hold, different tips. Just incredible...now I only need a car worthy of this. I'm looking to get into the performance world again this year sometime so I can't wait. I use many of the same products...
I will be very disappointed indeed if there's no RS here this year. I haven't been to the auto show in years even though I live about 20 minutes away from Cobo. Ford has been killing it in the auto world lately so I'm certain my next car will be another new oval (had to get rid of my FoST) but...
I've never understood the fascination with black wheels. I don't think any style on any car looks good. Might as well ride on donuts with steelies since they look like black blobs when in motion. But that's just me ha. I'm glad car companies are finally making stock wheels worthy of keeping...
Couldn't agree more about the 20s on this car. I am amazed at how they instantly make the car look so much better than any of the other wheel options. I despise black wheels so if I end up with the PP then I'm putting these on. Yes, they fit over the Brembos in case anyone is wondering. Another...
These wheels make the car imo. I despise black wheels and just don't understand why they're so popular but that's what makes everyone unique. If I end up ordering this car (may hold out for the Focus RS) I will definitely get these gorgeous wheels. Very good to know they fit with the PP, thanks OP.
Yeah if I do end up with a Mustang I don't think I'll get the PP. I would like the Brembo brakes but I don't plan on tracking the car so stock brakes should be just fine. I'd get the 3.55 rear with the 20" wheel option. I'm still leaning towards waiting for the focus RS but time will tell. Good...
Wow, 6th is much taller than I thought. That's good news. I was just under 3k when cruising at 77 in the FoST I had. Thanks for the rear end advice, I was wondering if I should go with the 3.55 since I'm not yet sure if I'll go with the PP.
I just have a quick question to anyone who owns a manual GT. What is the RPM while having the cruise set (in 6th gear of course) at 77 MPH? I'm just curious as I have a 98% freeway ride to and from work (about 33 miles one way) and usually set my cruise to 77.
Would the RPM vary with...
Very true, that's almost why I thought of buying another ST and just save for the GT so I'd have two great cars to drive but I'm not that patient so I want one really good one now. I could probably live with the FiST for a while until I saved for the GT or GT350 but it would still take years...
Hmm that link you sent didn't work. I love the exterior of the Camaro but I just couldn't spend 40k with the current interior so that's why I kinda ruled it out of my search but if Chevy made something that looked even half as refined and nice as the new Mustang I'd be interested. I'm so over...
Was wondering if I'd hear from any FiST owners. I like them but I'm not crazy about the interior of the Fiesta in general. I much prefer the Focus but the FiST is a fantastic little machine. If I could swing it I would probably get one and just get the damn V8 that I know I want in the GT but...
You know once you see the RS start to make its appearance you'll need to add one in the driveway ha. I think it would bother me a little if I owned an ST and didn't have the RS. Same goes for the GT. If I buy the GT then once the GT350 comes out I'll want that. Kinda need the top model even...
See, this is the stuff I like hearing. I know I'm comparing apples to oranges in a sense with these two cars but I know there's gotta be some logical reason I like both. I'm glad you still love the Focus, both cars are just incredible.
