So they wouldn't take 28k but found another 2015 base GT, with 27k miles and ruby red for $26.5k OTD minus $18k for my trade in (15 Eco premium with 37k miles)
Is it a good deal? Or should I just stick with a newer Eco with even lower miles? Not sure if the extra $8.5k is worth it, especially...
I took mine and they found the amount of refrigerant to be low so they recharged it with refrigerant that had UV dye. They checked for leaks and couldn't find anything. AC works fine 5 days after... told me to go back if it stops blowing cold and will revisit with Ford. Anyone had the dealer do...
Dealer today had no idea... they are going to charge me for the diagnosis and once they know what is wrong, they will contact Ford and see what they can do. Still is BS after I bought two cars from this dealer and did two trade ins with them as well... If they figure this out I may hold on or...
Not a lot of miles but warranty is up and it being a premium, any of the electronics fail and you are left with a nice mess and potentially costly fix. Look at my AC, if Ford does not warranty, it will be over $2,000 to replace.
I thought I made it clear on the first post. My car is starting to have some issues and getting up there in mileage. It needs AC work and have all those engine issues, minor for the most part, but that are really hard to diagnose and have already been "dismissed" by the dealer as "work as...
So... I just want to confirm what the original post says. You can buy a MCA membership and be automatically eligible for X plan? Is Costco's membership and auto purchase program better than the X plan?
I always fill mine up with 93, in fact, I always go to the same Shell gas station haha To get X plan I have to join the Mustang club from the thread on the purchase section of the forum correct? I will be okay with a base or even a premium with 101A.
Gas is not my main concern but it sure is...
True, but I still would not be saving more than $8-9 per fill up. If I can find one with an auto and lowish mileage for $25 then I would consider it, otherwise I will have to stick with the Eco for now
Just looked at the spark plugs in cylinder 4 and yes, it had some brownish deposit all over, especially when compared to spark plugs in cylinder 2 (see attachment). I believe I didn't tight it enough because it was super loose.
I tighten the clamps I saw around the turbo and the ones I could...
Yeah, plugs are gapped at 0.28
Did not do anything as the code has not come back after I cleared it. What exactly do I need to check for Boost leaks?
The only mod is a Levels intercooler. I know previous owner had it modded with a tune but it has not been tuned since 24k miles.
I do mind...
Going to try to make a case to the dealer as my AC went out 400 miles after my warranty expired. Is there any solid documentation I can bring or service bulletin or TSB that document the spread of AC problems with the Mustangs? I don't want to have the service manager read the entire thread and...
My Eco is paid off so no money owed to worry about. I like the Eco because is cheaper and it is also my daily and since I drive over an hour (over 50 miles each day), it is nice to not have to be at the pump every other day.
I am lining towards a new 18 Eco, base that I can upgrade, and just...
Back in October I purchased an 15 Premium Eco with 25k miles for $18K. It has treated me really well and it currently sits at 36.5k miles.
I have been really happy with it until the past 4-5k miles, and here is why:
1. My AC went out just over 300 miles and now I am not sure if Ford is...
