Yup. The grill on my California Special lets more air through than the honey comb and the hood fluttering was really noticeable. Installing a set of hood struts pretty much eliminated it.

I bought my '17 California Special back in February. I paid pretty much the same price, so I'd say it's a good deal. The out the door price at most of the dealerships in my area were closer to 45K.
