  1. Supercharging fact and fiction help me clear up my worries

Listen to THIS guy. If you go PD blower with good tuning, you will have an abundance of low end torque with some throttle. On street tires, MT82 car (even drag radials), with good tuning, you will be hard pressed to get good traction at over half-3/4's throttle in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. If you...
  2. VMP Odin (boost issue?)

All things being equal, tune-wise, you should be safe on GOOD pump 93 to 11-12psi, as long as there's no knock.
  3. 2023 GT Premium - My Twin Turbo Build

I use that same joke, but with cross-fit guys and vegans.
  4. GTD in the wild at Costco

    It was the standard black.
  5. GTD in the wild at Costco

Man that dash is hideous. Such a nice looking car and with ALL that engineering they still throw that shitty dash in there. Unbelievable. In about 10 or 20 years we are going to look back at these S650 dash's and REALLY be shaking our heads. All the effort put into that platform and THAT's the...
  6. VMP Odin (boost issue?)

You should be seeing 10+lbs of boost out of that thing. You should see waaay more than 2psi in 2nd gear.
  7. BL Fabrications 88/96 turbo install on 2019 Bullitt

It can be a hoe sometimes.
  8. BL Fabrications 88/96 turbo install on 2019 Bullitt

That is one hell of a list. You are in the hoe stretch, though. Should be ready to fire up soon.
  9. GTD in the wild at Costco

No pic for me, as he was on the otherside of the beltway from me and by the time I saw him, identified what I was looking at, I barely had time to admire it in real time. There was no way for me to grab a picture. Sorry.
  10. GTD in the wild at Costco

I saw one a few weeks ago on the Baltimore Beltway early on a Saturday. I figured he was headed up to Cars N Coffee in Hunt Valley. They are impressive going down the road. Definitely catches your eye.
  11. How do you guys deal with the old parts?

I didn't click on the link. Funny.
  12. How do you guys deal with the old parts?

Revived a 10 year old thread. Nice!!
  13. How many miles on your S550

2018 GT that I bought in June of 2021 with 6,025 miles on it. It currently is on the 2nd engine ( I broke a ring land at 47K) that I can't get right with 64K+ miles and honestly, if it had been right, it would have over 100k miles on it the way I drive. The car has been down for probably 17...
  14. Silver State Challenge...has anyone ever done this?

I'd do the beginner class in order to get familiar with and to be qualified to run it the next year in a bigger class. I think it'd be fun. My car isn't super modified suspension-wise, and going 124mph for extended periods would be fun, in my opinion. I'd still like to do it.
  15. How do you guys actually keep track of everything done to your car?

That I did not know. I have them as well. I need to look at that feature. Thank you for telling us.
  16. Full Send Lap in the MMR GT350 @ Willow Springs Raceway

That car isn't about looks, it's about functionality. Those mirrors, I am sure, are about functionality and lower drag.
  17. A long post about long time issues with cam correlation codes. (Carnage pics)

It certainly is NOT fun and I absolutely feel for you in your situation as well, Tim. I'll just keep trudging along until I get backed into a corner on this thing. Hopefully I can save this built motor, but if not I'll come up with a back-up plan. I have some ideas brewing for that.
  18. A long post about long time issues with cam correlation codes. (Carnage pics)

Let me start this post by saying, I believe the shop had the best of intentions and based off of their analysis, I understand where they are saying what they are saying. They may, in fact, ultimately be proven correct. But... They ran a static compression test and cylinder 5 is down apparently...
