Listen to THIS guy. If you go PD blower with good tuning, you will have an abundance of low end torque with some throttle. On street tires, MT82 car (even drag radials), with good tuning, you will be hard pressed to get good traction at over half-3/4's throttle in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. If you...
Man that dash is hideous. Such a nice looking car and with ALL that engineering they still throw that shitty dash in there. Unbelievable. In about 10 or 20 years we are going to look back at these S650 dash's and REALLY be shaking our heads. All the effort put into that platform and THAT's the...
No pic for me, as he was on the otherside of the beltway from me and by the time I saw him, identified what I was looking at, I barely had time to admire it in real time. There was no way for me to grab a picture. Sorry.

I'd do the beginner class in order to get familiar with and to be qualified to run it the next year in a bigger class. I think it'd be fun. My car isn't super modified suspension-wise, and going 124mph for extended periods would be fun, in my opinion. I'd still like to do it.
It certainly is NOT fun and I absolutely feel for you in your situation as well, Tim. I'll just keep trudging along until I get backed into a corner on this thing. Hopefully I can save this built motor, but if not I'll come up with a back-up plan. I have some ideas brewing for that.
Let me start this post by saying, I believe the shop had the best of intentions and based off of their analysis, I understand where they are saying what they are saying. They may, in fact, ultimately be proven correct. But...
They ran a static compression test and cylinder 5 is down apparently...
