But those who buy a CFTP or 1le is for the track, so ride quality isn’t a priority, those are what the base cars are for. Plus I really doubt you will see any CFTP use there car as a DD. So is the CFTP worth the extra $20k more if your going to track it?

They did say in the video that the track test was done first thing in the mourning so that all tires were the freshest they could be.

A guy on C6 said he knows the guy who supplied the 1le, and said Ford supplied the GT500. Why they sent it with spent tires is a mystery. Maybe a backup excuse???

The 1le was 4 sec faster then c7z51 at LS, and the C8 is about 1 sec faster then c7. LS is a smaller and tighter track. So I would say the 1le at vir full would put a hurtling on a C8 z51.

The big difference in the LL being 3.4 sec slower for the zl1 1le, they were different drivers. That alone could make a huge difference.

The PP2 is down near 60hp and did not have track alignment either. So according to some here, that is a couple sec advantage.
