  1. Bullitt

Agree with Manders, looking objectively, this is a marketing shot-in-the-arm to a model in the middle of its life cycle. Sure, it's a bonny colour, has nice wheels and has a mildly hopped-up engine. It's not even an original idea as they pulled this with S197 too. I still can't not like it...
  2. Bullitt

    Lol! We shall see!
  3. Bullitt

The thin chrome around the grill is a nice touch. No autobox which rules it out as a replacement. Joins my imaginary "lottery collection" alongside a GT350R :)
  4. Bullitt

Yeah, I like that. First of the MY18 that work for me. Wonder how much?
  5. The joy of a Mustang

I see that some of the Focus RS boys are having problems with HG warranty claims on modified cars. Interesting to see that they think the root cause is related to using the same head gasket part as the EB Mustangs on the RS engine, which has a slightly different head design ...
  6. Guess what Santa left under the tree....?

Nice! Santa got me something very very similar last year! Enjoy!
  7. UK ONLY VOTES PLEASE: What colour did you choose?

    *Excluding Grabber Blue. :)
  8. Potential GT buyer

Hard to tell as they'll load the P/X price, it's all in cost to change. Welcome aboard!
  9. Why I cancelled

Facts of life, taxes, death and new car depreciation.
  10. Help with man maths - wheels

For reference, I bought a 2nd set of Nickel OEM wheels fitted with the standard Pzero ditch-finders for £650. I thought that was a fair price tbh. Think you could push £900 with the better rubber.
  11. Winter Rubber

And OK to mix speed and load ratings? I suppose that's ok, guess a little bit surprised. Higher rated on the rear than the front, probs better that way round :)
  12. Insurance...again

Thanks for the reminder as my renewal is due in 3 weeks times, guess that's a job for when I'm at work tomorrow. :) Last time went for the cheapest around (£250), this year, I want a bigger mileage now that I'm home all the time and got a couple of Continent trips booked for 2018. So will need...
  13. Newbie Here!

Excellent news! What a Christmas present! I had something very similar last year on the 24th December!
  14. Winter Rubber

I guess it's a bit academic in the end of the day. Ford recommend the same rating, size and rating. But then, all the decent winter tyres that I can see online available to the UK are all V-rated, so we will never be able to match precisely. Unless their customer centre reckon that a lower...
  15. Winter Rubber

The manual says: It goes on to say And then It seems like Ford and their dealers won't recommend a particular brand of winter tyre, but the manual does recommend the use of winter tyres. Slight paradox there. So think we are on our own. Certainly, I'm not going to wait for them...
  16. So WHO is in the Grabber Blue club..?

Fully signed up member over here. MY17, auto GT, custom pack. Couple of small mods, rear US EB decklid and Nokian winter tyres for the cold months of the year.
  17. What did you do to your UK S550 Mustang Today

With my clod hands, found it much easier to do with the front wheels off the car. Plus, the first time half the battle is figuring out where the hell the buggers are and how to get them out. In other news, my n/s headlight isn't flickering. Must have been my imagination. Good news I feel...
  18. Winter Rubber

Likewise. The newer TPM systems don't need any gadgetry to calibrate themselves. I got TPM sensors for about £15 a corner, had the tyre place pop them in and a couple resets via the panel in the instrument cluster later job's a good 'un
  19. Winter Rubber

Another vote for the Nokian WR A4 tyres. Did a full bore standing start into a smaller-than-expected space on a roundabout this morning, only a minor slip on the wet road surface. Am sure with the Pzeros it would have been very different. Only concerns the tyre fitters had, is that I've gone...
