Hopefully my last mod for a while....swapped the stock catback back onto my car. It was just too loud between the blower, catless LTH, and the AWE touring exhaust which have tiny mufflers. I'm gonna miss the beautiful exhaust tips and the original exhaust note from the AWE before I went catless...
That seems really high. I'm supercharged and in Florida with 100 degree ambient temps - I never see my CHT go above 230. Normal driving I'm 189-194, after a hard pull it will usually go above 200. Sitting in traffic or a drive thru is where I see it go to 220.
Many lowering springs have a smaller drop in the rear than the front. This give the car a "raked" appearance that was popular on older muscle cars. My BMR lowering springs for example have a 1.25" drop in the front, and a .5" drop in the rear.
Not at all. I have a sunroof on my Focus ST and I never use it, I keep the shade closed so the interior doesn't get hot in the sun. And worst of all it leaks when the drain channels on the side get clogged.
I have a 2018 GT and my original mod while it was still under warranty was the Ford Performance Power Pack + AWE Touring Catback exhaust. My dyno yielded 441rwhp/394 torque on 93 octane, but it could run on 91.
I'm assuming this would be reflected in the amount of oil in the catch can? I have been tracking my oil consumption - especially since I boosted the motor. I only ever have a small amount in the catch can so I'm thinking it is not from that.
I'm in Central Florida where you don't have to worry about winter, so I still see Mustangs on a daily basis. Mostly S550s, but I still see the occasional S650 pop up. Mine is my weekend / drive around town car, my commuter is a Focus ST.
If you only drive during the summer, why not just top it off with distilled water? I wouldn't mix two color coolants, the chemical composition may be different. If you are concerned about the mix ratio being off, just do a coolant flush and replace with the new Ford yellow.
