Zipper technique. TOO many people do NOT know that the Zipper technique is how merges should be handled.
That said, if there's not a large number of cars, and if the two cars in the two lanes are doing about the same speed, the one in the lane that is ending should yield to the one in the...
Shut up and take my money!
Ok, in all seriousness, the idea of better results via better efficiency always appeals to me - sheesh, I don't even have a VIN for my car yet, and I'm thinking "holy crap I want this!"
A few days after putting in my order, including a weekend of frantically searching for images of Competition Orange with them, I called and said "give me the Foundry Black 18s"
But, thanks VERY much for the big photos - I think I made the right choice. There are a few angles I think that they...
I was considering the Challenger. Unfortunately, while the Challenger R/T was in my price range, its extra girth means that I'd've had to get the 6.4 to keep up or exceed the Mustang for speed. And I wanted an automatic. The 5.7 still was plenty fast, but with the extra weight the car has, it...
I was thinking about this . . and I will admit that I grumbled at how much more a GT cost than a V6 or an Ecoboost...
And I happened to be reading a Car Craft magazine from within the past 4 or 5 years, and they had a junkyard crawl bit... and mentioned some car (I forget which one, but it was...
I am shocked . . SHOCKED, I tell you, that a 500 horsepower motor might consume such prodigious amounts of fuel as to be subject to the gas guzzler tax.
SHOCKED, I say!
I think it's just bizarre in that it's confusing - makes it look like you're being charged extra for something that you normally aren't charged for, or that they're trying to slip one by you, etc.
Instead of stating it as invoice minus 0.4% of invoice plus 1.63% of invoice as Advertising...
Oh, then I'll have to pick your brains on this one . . I guess it's automatic that they ask if I'm going to trade in my existing car, but...
Well, I showed up in a 1987 Crown Vic Coupe. I drive that to work every day, so I am unlikely to trade that in.
And I wonder what they'd've said had I...
Ah, that clarifies - I never knew that there was the 1.63% for advertising fee, just the -0.4% of Invoice. Though why they don't just say 99.6% of invoice from the get-go is puzzling.
Still, as long as what I'm paying is part of what the X-Plan entails, and isn't anything that SHOULDN'T be...
Todd - thanks for the info - looks like things are pretty much set right, then.
I will see if I can get them to tag the car for only a year, though. Renewing registration is under $100/year in NJ
Thanks for the tip. Interestingly, the printout they gave me was about $140 LESS than what the X-plan site shows for the build, and the worksheet's written price (with a question mark next to it, I forgot to mention that), is $78 MORE than the X-plan site's total.
So, I guess I'm actually...
I came across some info that said it's a little shorter and narrower (??) but slightly taller. Also, that it's shed 200 lbs. The latter might make me consider it...
BUT . . and this is important to me . . . visibility is supposedly no better than with the 2015 Camaro. Thus, I'm not...
All,
Ok, so I finally put my order in today, at Holman Ford in Turnersville, NJ, and a $200 deposit. They'll put the order through on Thursday, an rough estimate is that I'll have the car sometime in July.
I ordered:
2015 Mustang GT Base with:
Automatic
All-weather floor mats
Spoiler delete...
I'll admit I'm more confused.... though I guess like 113, I'll ask the dealer what info they have on or after the 11th.
Maybe I'll wind up ordering a 2015 after all..
Well, if that IS accurate, then, I guess, due to my procrastination, I'm getting a 2016...
I really originally intended to place my order back in February...
You know, at first, I thought I wanted it without an emblem on the back.
Now, having seen it, I'm not so sure.
I somehow simultaneously think it looks better and worse without the emblem.
I guess I'm ridiculously indecisive.
