I have the LMR wheel package with the Indy 500. The rear is the 325 and no rubbing. My car is a 2021 PP1 Magnaride with pretty much everything Steeda sells for the suspension including the dual rate spring. They look great and work perfectly. I really need slicks for the back but I am set up for...
I have a 2021 GT Premium PP1 with magnetic shocks as well. which is 1/2 lower than a standard GT. 10 speed auto. Suspension mods are everything Steeda sells sitting on Dual rate springs. Which lowered it another 1/2 inch. I didn't check the angles but they're not extreme. Once I took the 1 piece...
I had the Steeda 1 piece made by Spicer. Way too much vibration. I was after the lighter weight more than anything. I have 745 whp from a VMP Odin. 95% plus street. No issues with the stock driveshaft. I had even flipped the Spicer line 180° to see if that would help and no dice.
Do the Foster's Mod. You're going to love it. The VMP Odin Roots based blower I have is pretty quiet too. I love the gear whine of older blowers. The sound tube attaches to the intake and pipes it into the cabin.
The Odin uses the dual 69mm throttle body and aftermarket air box. The loki kit uses same head unit but with the stock throttle body and air box. I imagine if you pay VMP for the tuning you're going to need they would be happy to offer support as well.
I have also been considering this purchase and would love to hear from some folks who have experience with the controller. I have done everything except.
You could read the VMP in the stock hood insulation pad. This is the IKON hood off Amazon. It does have additional clearance and a functional vent. I love it.
I have had my VMP Odin kit on for almost a year. I haven't had any issues. Their kit seemed well thought out and had high quality components. They also did the tuning via email back and forth. My car is a 2021 GT premium PP1 with magnaride and active valve exhaust.
Odin is a TVS 2.65 based roots. I went with this vs whipple because the factory GT500 has a roots, the C7 Z06 is roots, the ZL1 is roots. Roush uses roots. Most OEM systems are roots and they have to warrant the car so I figured this would be the most reliable system.
I live in Oregon just outside the Portland area. 500-900 foot elevation. We have 92 Octane here in Oregon. I have added a 170° thermostat, a catless tune and a 3.4 (previously 3.5) pulley since I last was on the dyno and put down 712 at the wheels before those mods. Its Roughly 12 psi. VMP also...
One is not superior over the other. It depends on what you will mainly use the car for and how you want the power delivered. I am not tracking the car. I like the hit and right now power of the PD blowers. If I was going to spend a lot of time at higher RPMs I'd likely go centri.
From my research I'd say this is pretty close to the feeling you get. I've seen some side by side comparisons between PD screw and PD roots. The main benefit of the screw is less heat. I went with the roots because the OEMs almost always use them and they have to warrant it.
