I would be totally ok with the suspension if it was in line with my BMW 135. If I would buy any type of "upgrade" I would go with more rigid suspension than that, but if the car, when it shows up, would be equally firm as the BMW I would definitely not bother changing anything.
Are you saying...
Eh, I'm not a "car/track guy" and haven't been to a track in 15 years. I commute to work, pick up the kids, go to the grocery store etc. I just happen to hate soft suspension.
Thanks! Vorshlag seems great. Will definitely check with them when it's time.
I know a convertible is not the best choice for firmness/sturdiness. However, since we moved to the southern parts of US, a convertible is a "must have" for me. I've had several convertibles that I've been happy...
Thanks for all input.
Can someone recommend a company in the DFW area that sell and install Mustang suspension parts?
It's so annoying that Ford doesn't offer the Performance Package for the convertible. Care to speculate in a reason why they are not doing it?
Doesn't Ford sell performance...
Thanks a lot for taking the time trying to explain suspension...
I guess I didn't really think about that there might be different ways to describe firmness. Would be so much easier if there just was a scale from 1 to 10 ;-)
To put it simple... I want whatever can be done to improve...
Ok, I guess I'm not the typical guy hanging on a car forum. I thought I kind of made that clear :-). I have zero interest in looking under the hood and have no idea how a car works; I just want to drive. Think of a guy that have never put his foot in a car part store and definitely would never...
I think you might have misinterpreted the purpose of my post.
I want to confirm that there is, or rather will be, an (easy) way to make the suspension in a 2015 Mustang GT stiffer. If that wasn't possible I wouldn't be interested in the car at all. While there is a super-slim chance the car...
I called two different resellers and was told the 20" wheels are $3,100 + and additional $500 for the color, i.e. $3,600 + tax.
The $500 for the orange color, and most other colors, are also specified on HRE's website:

Wow, I just fell in love with those orange wheels. Thanks for sharing! I'm getting a yellow GT convertible and when I saw those wheels I got that "must have"-feeling. I bet a yellow car with orange wheels will look like a big toy, but that is exactly how I want it. I just love bright colors (not...
Thanks a lot for your responses. I'm really bad at the terminology, but what you said sounds like what I want.
Is this kit an example of what you're referring to...
I prefer stiff suspension and want the ride to be really firm. Almost all cars have way too soft suspension for my taste.
Not sure how the 2015 Mustang will be, but if it's anything like the previous model I'd want it much firmer. I'm getting the GT convertible, so unfortunately I'll not be...
