Yes, London is the place to go for sight seeing. MK is a new town so not much history there although Bletchley Park is well worth a visit.
Come to the mustang meet on 23 Oct like Steve says... It's not far away at all
Not sure if you can hire s550s in the UK yet. Had a quick look...
You're completely right! I've just edited my original post as your post made me realize I had a typo... My tyre guy recommended 305/35/19 and
the issue there is that only P zero are available... I had originally typed that he recommended 305/30/19 which was wrong
Ok... So I probably will...
Yep I remember you saying that :-) I did consider it and with square setup but I am going to whipple it anyway. Just gotta do it you know. So wider tyres on
the back it is... And a bit of a loss handling wise.
So.. eventually I'll have the whipple tool which will sort the speedo
Sounds...
I could have posted this in the wheels and tyres section but I kind of wanted some UK opinions...
Ok so I now have 19x9.5 wheels at the front and 19x11 rear and am looking at tyres... I have a question about rolling radius's and all that...
I want to go quite a bit wider than stock at the rear...
Agree with Steeda... I had to swap my Roush axle-backs back to the stock exhaust due to noise limits. I had adapters made up to cater for this as the stock exhausts don't just slot back on - they need sleeves and clamps. Stock exhaust measured 81db and Roush measured 104db+ at static test.
I'd be interested but not sure you'll get the numbers. Another option might be to choose a public track day and get some slots on that (as many car clubs do)
Fitted Judd T311R wheels which I had finished in an Illusion Red powder coat. 19x9.5 front and 19x11 rear. Still have original tyres on but will replace with wider ones soon...
Yeah no harm done - only the tyres. We were doing this pretty much all day... He'd demo something then I'd give it a go. Car's all set up for it so nothing at risk, just a good fun day :-)
Went on a driving skills day at Carlimits in Essex today and learnt about controlling oversteer, rotational steering, and lots of good stuff like that. Here's a clip of the instructor (who was an excellent teacher) messing around :-)
