Sorry if everyone is satisfied with the numbers the GT is running while I like that body style I just would prefer to be in the low 4.0sec and low 12 qtr mile , my last supra ran what the gt is running. I also find the EXHAUST NOTE to be on the quiet side. I would prefer a more track ready car...
although I like the look of the new GT I just didnt find it beefy enough, curious if anyone has supercharged there GT? ROUSCH seems kind of out of budget but some of the whipple superchargers look interesting? picking up a used 2015 and adding a supercharger seems like a unique car , would you...
well if it was possible to fairly test drive the shelby it would be easier, I hate having to buy something by order plus mark up without having anytime with it. is that unreasonable?
Well i like the tech pack and want the track pack I'm gonna get a 1le or the zl1 . 2017 gt350 will prob be the same struggle w mark up and I can never test drive it and all to even compare plus these issues seem to pop up not gonna spend 65k on a used 2016 w issues
these are the reasons I'm steering away from this car , plus all the youtube videos of them overheating and shutting down as well, than when I see people selling them used for 80K makes me shake my head...
Im back and forth on wether to get a New SS or a used shelby 40K and under, wonder what about the shelby you would choose vs the performance and refinement of the new SS which is hard to beat at that price point? what turns me off is in 3 yrs i know every camaro is gonna be all over the place...
Thats not what makes the car, the fact that it practically equals the M4 is pretty amazing, yes the shelby is another class but the base SS to match M4 is a feat
Well I went over to the dealer and drove the BOSS here are my impressions,
Better looking than in pictures definitely has presence
I can tell its more unique than let say a Camaro will be in the long run
It has more of a classic muscle car throttle and I def like that in its SOUL...
I still feel performance for $ im stil comparing everything to the 2016 1 SS right now im leaning on the 2017 SS 1 Le, or for budget the 1 SS at 35K seems pretty attractive but im gonna go and drive a boss i wish i could test drive a shelby but it seems impossible
so you guys think the 2013 boss , will hold its value over the new SS? 2016 over the next few years? performance wise the torque and chassis and engine on the new SS blew me away but that would be the 1SS price point to the boss
So lets say the boss is the BEST bang for the BUCK?
I did see a black one I really like.... is it really sub 4 sec 0 to sixty ? and you say it handles better? than shelby/?
I have go say to everyone you are really friendly!
the Camaro forums people are like short and grumpy ! that...
