So in another thread Kelly said that there will be a revised handling spring that doesn't have as much of a drop. Might want to just wait for those. I want to get a set. It's like waiting for Christmas when you don't know when Christmas is going to come.
Any update on when the new front springs will be available? I'm dying to get my hands on a set. Also, will these have the helper coils in the middle like the last version?
I can see that. 0 won't be quite as touchy. I have toe plates so I've tested a few front toe settings. 1/16 out or .10 total out is what I prefer but I thought 0 was nice too. Toe out made the wheel feel lighter to me. The biggest thing is to get rid of the front toe in.
Glad to help. So far stock PP bars and tires. I've done 3 track days and almost through the stock tires but I'm trying to hold off until the new Michelins Sports come out. I think I'm going to get some BMR or Steeda bars soon. I've been waiting for the BMR 38mm bar and get some reviews on...
Yes, I track it. I ran Daytona with this and the rear stuck pretty well. Just take it easy for a couple laps to get used to the change. For me the more important part was it helped with corner entry and mid corner rotation. For me it was easier to put the car where I wanted it and make...
When I lowered with BMR handling springs I went with the 350r specs.
Front
Camber -1.5 (That's where mine ended up after lowering, no camber plates)
Total Toe .10 out
Rear
Camber -1.3
Total Toe .30 in
Do it. You'll like what you'll get. Steering response is so much better.
So I'm thinking about getting the Energy Suspension bushing or the Steeda one and I have a question. I've seen lots people say that it improves shifts and I believe everyone but wouldn't it increase lockouts? When the transmission moves under load you would think that a softer bushing would...
It didn't really take that long for mine to settle. Now that I think about it I did my first measurement immediately after I installed so I'm not the best example. I got an alignment a week after I installed mine and only maybe 50 miles. I double checked with toe plates after 100 miles and no...
Cool, thanks for looking at it and explaining all of this to us. I think I may just need some sway bars and maybe more negative camber for the car to have the turn in telepathy that I want. The gap that Niz has is a real mystery.
I can't really tell from my picture if the middle of the spring is completely compressed or if there is still a tiny gap between them.
My main concern is that I'm getting the best performance possible. I don't want the suspension geometry to be messed up by too much of a drop. That's why...
