2M headers are cheaper... the problem is they say it is USA hand made and fits perfectly when in fact many of us are starting to see many issues with fitment with these headers. I will attach a picture of the beating my 2m headers had to go through to make them barely fit.
I wanted to update everyone on this thread that I may have gotten these headers to work. It took A LOT of banging the metal pipes and heating the pipes red hot but I was able to get it to where it has about a washer sized gap between the steering shaft and header as well as I have a little more...
I as well go to the tracks here in ohio. Looking at either a 305 ss or street r tire for a 17 inch race star. Would the extra money be worth the r over the ss? I am in same boat and don't want to be screwed in rain. Best I did last year was a 1.9 60ft on a crappy g2 20 inch tire 6r80 3.15 car...
Appreciate it, I am getting a little KR at about 4500 rpm under WOT, but unsure if that can be caused by the tires slipping or not. It is cold outside so I have to pedal it haha
Yes I can, I can hit it with a torch underneath while getting a prybar and hammer from up top. But would that put too much strain on header bolts? I do not want them to snap or weaken.
