From what I can tell is you do still pay sales tax. Only thing thought that I can confirm that is with the Price is right in CA. You have to pay taxes (including Sales) before you can take the car. Some states allow you to wait till tax day others want the money right away. Either way...

I certainly understand how you feel. I know I won't get mine till late sept at the earliest since I just ordered on 6/22. But the wait for it to even show up in Cotus or get scheduled has me obsessively sitting at my computer refreshing cotus.

If you add federal and state taxes for me thats over 40% for winning the car. Just on the income side. Not to mention a 7.5% sales tax and i don't know how much property tax on it.

Just stopped by my dealership and saw the velocity blue and compared it to the lightning blue. Not much difference.

I even used my zipcode for where I lived in Lenexa, KS. Since there isnt a costco in the state I live in now. Now I dont know if having a dealer contact me would net a better price. But the listed invoice price was $400 more and I hadnt selected B&O Audio on Costco page.

I just checked and the Costco price is about 1k more than my X plan price.

Just got my order in. 2019 GT Premium Velocity Blue, PP2, 401A, Safe & Smart, enhanced Security, B&O Audio, Active Exhaust, 6 Speed. Also got to take a 2018 GT350 for a test drive.

Anyone who ordered the PP2 get build dates yet? I am going to order today with the hopes I get the car in late Sept. Although I wouldn't be upset about sooner than that I will just have my truck paid off at that time and have a little more of a down payment if it does hold out for almost 90 days.
