Air conditioned seats has been a feature I've been looking for in a car for years. Heading down to my local dealership today to order a GT Premium without Recaros. I've never had a hard time staying in my seat and while a nice tight seat does feel cool, I'm good with the standards.
Called a dealer here and was told that you can't do X-Plan and get the military rebate. Does that sound normal or is that an issue? Also to whoever it was who thought my question about getting 3.55s in the auto was dumb and then didn't even answer it - the order guide specifically stated that on...
I was under the impression that you could not get 3.55s with an auto transmission. Can anyone confirm that you can get this as an option? Also, does anyone have pictures showing both the base Premium GT interior and the premier premium interior?
Im confused, I thought you could only get the 3.55 gears with the manual trans. Can you confirm that the 3.55 is available on the automatic? Also does anyone have a picture of the difference between the standard GT premium interior and the premier interior option?
As I am pretty happy with the addition of 9 speakers, selectable drive modes, dual zone climate control, heated/cooled seats, SYNC with 8" screen, and other goodies I don't feel the need to add other frills or options. The only other option I like is memory seats and mirrors, but don't want to...
$36,100 for the GT Premium is great. I was looking at a comparably equipped 2014 with electronics package and comfort (for heated and now cooled seats) and then they made the screen and AC seats standard in the premium and it is MUCH cheaper than that comparably equipped 2014. Makes me really...
Not gonna lie, I'm getting an Auto, so Performance Pack isn't an option. Planning to add suspension goodies myself later on though.
As far as my priorities, I'd say wear and maintainability is fairly high up. I currently don't buy tires more than once every 3 years or more, and I hope that...
In my opinion even the current 5.0 feels slower than it is. The difference from the 2009 to 2010 to 2011 saw the car get faster, but also more refined. You don't realize how fast you are going until you look out the window and at the speedo or stopwatch. It is not as visceral as some have been...
I have been a mustang nut for quite a while, daily driven a 93 LX 5.0 vert and a 65 coupe 289 in the past. Been saving for a while with an eye for the 2015 mustang, and now that the time to order is almost upon me I am trying to get my ducks in a row. I plan to get the car mostly how I want it...
My wife was a driving instructor for a year in the LA and Orange County area. Kids these days do not want drivers licenses. Many of her students were older and were being forced by their parents to get their licenses. Definitely not an American dream anymore.
In America it doesn't make as much sense as it does in Europe, where several countries charge large taxes based on displacement, CO2 emissions, and I think even cylinder count, but not sure on the last one. In America it would just be for the weight savings, potential for better mileage...
So it sounds like trying to make x-plan happen and get close to invoice is best. Anyone have experience in x-plan here? I've heard the mustang club of America is the place to go to make that happen.
I agree that the jump from current engine to DI would not be nearly the jump it was from the...
I've been following mustang6g since just before the first spy shots, and finally pulled the trigger to make an account and formally join this great community! The 2015 Mustang will be my first new vehicle, and in fact my first dealership purchase. That said I am already trying to research and...
