I think it's a no brainer. The added contrast stitching, soft touch door panels & upgraded leather are worth it considering it's only a $395 option.
I think it may be a 401A option, but I have a setting for easy entry/exit; it automatically slides the seat back when the engine shuts down and...
I took delivery last week and the more time I spend looking at this color the more I love it. I was detailing it in the garage this weekend and had to take this pic... in the right lighting conditions the color is simply jaw-dropping. :eyebulge:
So far I've washed, clayed and waxed with Collinite 845 (skeptical of how well it will perform in the Florida heat but figured I'd give it a shot anyway).
Also got it tinted (Formula One Pinnacle 30% front, 15% rear) and installed Steeda Hood Struts and Lloyd Mats. Diode Dynamics LEDs are in...
There is some of that here. There've been plenty of auto vs manual posts especially. I cringe when I see those, but if you know what to avoid (and who to avoid... I have a few on my blocked users list) it's a pretty good community here.
I went out and checked and I do have touch up paint on the 2 forward-most bolts on the front fenders but my paint is fully intact unlike yours which has been touched up and then re-adjusted.
Your pic of the trunk lid edge is hard to understand, I went out and looked at mine and I can't see...
Fellow BMW to Ford guy here as well :) I have noticed the same thing. I bought a 328 (the 4-cyl turbo version) and took some flak for it.
Loving the Stang so far though. Puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel. (even just sitting in it when it's parked in the garage )
Yeah, been there. I did that with my last car. It managed to stay put as I was walking into the house but at some point it rolled back and was resting against the door. I didn't find out until I came out the next day and hit the door open button and once the light turned on I saw the car waaaaay...
True, the MT82 is a POS, and I also went auto because of it, but I wouldn't even look at the trans as being somehow at fault in this situation. If it grenaded itself on a 3-4 shift I'd agree and chalk it up to "it's an MT82," but a mis-shift? How can anyone possibly expect the manufacturer to...
+1. I love my loaded GT Premium, but my favorite parts are not the fancy options. It's the motor, steering & chassis, which are the same all the way down to the stripped models.
What do you mean, "that easy?" You money shifted the car, therefore it's a piece of shit? What the hell car on this planet is designed to be money shifted????
If I were you I wouldn't be getting my hopes up in that regard. Why would Ford pay to fix your mistake? You bought a manual car and money shifted it. User error, case closed. You should have to pay for the repairs.
It's fine. In fact I kind of like it and so far prefer it to the iDrive system that was in my 3 series. If you are proficient using any kind of computer, you'll have no problems.
My dealer has been a mixed bag. I think they ended up taking my order without having any allocations, but I worked that out with the fleet manager. And never got any updates from the salesperson during the order process.
But when the car arrived with a bumper problem and I requested the bumper...
