Some degree of tint is legal in most states, I don't know of any state in which visually obstructing the licence plate is legal. Feel free to do it, but you are giving law enforcement a reason to have a nice friendly talk with you. :)

I did this same setup. Only had it in for one day. The drone was terrible. The worst I have experienced. Painful, bone-shaking drone at 1,800 RPM. Louder at idle than redline. Will never buy another flowmaster part as long as I live. I can't believe they tested this setup before releasing it.
