  1. Ecoboost (Fake) Sound by Subaruwrxfan

Thanks OP for posting this. I remember when this first became a topic of "discussion" in this forum and a ridiculous amount of time was spent by so many people arguing back and forth whether or not the EcoBoost's sound was fake or not. While some may feel the topic was beaten to death, I...
  2. Motor Trend Really Doesn't Like The New Mustang

I've owned a Mustang from every generation except Gen 2 (Mustang II). My previous Mustang was a 2013 GT/CS. It was a very nice car but my 2015 GT beats it (and all the other gens) in every way ...style, handling, performance, refinement, you name it. Motor Trend's review makes me really question...
  3. 2015 Mustang GT vs 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500KR

Agreed! Even though I have a new 2015 Mustang GT in my garage, I would love to also have this 1968 GT500KR sitting in my garage! It's definitely a classic and a beauty!
  4. 2015 Mustang GT vs 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500KR

I love vintage Mustangs but this vintage road test of the 1968 Shelby Mustang GT500 KR (428 CJ) is a good visual reminder of how far Mustangs have advanced in over four decades. Also, check out this video's youtube channel for other vintage road tests. They're a hoot to watch! [ame=""] . .
  5. Why is there so much hate from the 2011+ community?

As the previous owner of a 2013 GT, 2011 GT, 2010 GT, 2006 GT, 2005 GT, 2000 GT, 1996 GT, 1987 GT, 1985 GT, 1983 GT, 1982 GT, 1979 5.0, and a 1971 Mustang Mach 1 (351C), I have owned every Mustang generation except for Gen 2 (Mustang II) and can say that, without a doubt, the 2015 is the best...
  6. Engine Debate

All else being equal, why wouldn't someone want the V8? The truth is, all things aren't equal. Compared to the EcoBoost and V6, the V8 costs more to buy, it's not as fuel efficient, and probably costs more to insure. In my opinion, the EcoBoost is a heckuva good value for the money compared to...
  7. Mustang#16's First Impressions After Owning His Car for a Week

Thank you! Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the review! Thank you!! Thanks for the comment! Yes, I definitely prefer the spare over the "fix-a-flat/tire pump" solution. Good luck with your car!
  8. Mustang#16's First Impressions After Owning His Car for a Week

FYI, we had cold weather here in the Dallas, TX area last week (mid-30s to 40s) and I didn't experience any abnormal traction issues with my car in the cold weather. Again, I have the base suspension.
  9. Mustang#16's First Impressions After Owning His Car for a Week

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed my review. Good luck with your decision! Thank you. Yes, Ford and my dealer did a really good job on my car. I couldn't be happier. The paint quality is amazing -- best I've seen on a Ford, ever. Yes, I have also read about some minor issues that others have...
  10. Mustang#16's First Impressions After Owning His Car for a Week

No, it's not normal for your car's tail to spin out at normal speeds and on normal surfaces (eg, no ice). Based on the amount of road "feel" and ride quality you describe, I suspect your tire pressure may be too high. See your owners manual how to check your tire pressure and how much pressure...
  11. Mustang#16's First Impressions After Owning His Car for a Week

Thank you! Thank you! Thanks! All photos are untouched (taken with my Galaxy S5 smartphone). No, I haven't detailed my car yet. That's how it was delivered to me by Bob Tomes Ford in McKinney, TX. They did a great job! Thank you!
  12. Mustang#16's First Impressions After Owning His Car for a Week

Thank you! Unfortunately I can't afford to keep them. I either trade 'em in when I get a new one or sell 'em myself. I wish I could do like Jay Leno and have a garage like his! LOL Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

  14. Mustang#16's First Impressions After Owning His Car for a Week

Summary I've owned my car for a week now and after 450 miles, thought I'd share my initial impression of my car. It was built on Oct 22 and was, I believe, among the first retail 2015 Mustangs to be built. Delivery was very late, however, due to a quality control hold for three weeks at the...
  15. November 2014 Mustang Sales (and vs. Camaro & Challenger)

Wow, I remember the last time Camaro sales dipped that low: Right before they ended production after the 2002 run. I wonder if we'll something like this again: . .
