Going with that, wouldn't it make sense to go back to stock, sell the FP kit, and run 87? Or is just not worth the effort/$$ ratio?
Resale value on your car is likely to be lower with the FP kit as well.
Edit: I really like the color on your car!
Has anyone had time to deep dive into that report to see how much effect ambient temp has and if their methodology included testing at the same temperatures for 87 vs 93?
First off, great screen name! Definitely looks like rust the way it is spreading out from a pin point. Either the chrome wasn't done right or iron contaminated the surface? I've seen stainless steel rust in a similar fashion when particles of iron contaminated the surface. Looks like your...
I've only bought premium since 2008 when I got a 2002 Lexus GS, so I am used to the cost. In the Lexus manual it said that 87 octane fuel could be used in an emergency but that you should drain the gas and refill with 91 or higher as soon as possible (can you imagine actually doing that?). I...
Doesn't sound like an upstanding dealer to work with in the first place. Is the scuff damage much? They should give you an appropriate discount for that. Couldn't you just get bank financing instead, since you plan to pay off soon and it is a tiny loan the interest difference should be...
Congratulations! Most satisfying when you get what you were looking for. I had one sold out from under me after 4 days of negotiation. Then I got lucky and found one at a different dealer even more suited to me that was in transit. Negotiated and agreed on price before they even received it.
Yup, green stitching on a black on black car seems questionable. I guess you could get green mud flaps to set it off. Maybe add a green stripe? On second thought, nevermind.
There's dealers here pricing Bullitts 5k-7k over MSRP! Not selling though. Just crazy and even with 2019's still on the lot they act like that's the going rate. When I brought up how many 2019's they still had on the lot, one BS'd me "oh they'll sell". You just can't believe one single thing...
They have room to come down. The rebates add up pretty well but you can't get 0% financing with rebates, it's one or the other. When I bought last month, a couple of the dealers had raised prices on units I was interested in compared to March. Weird, but maybe they thought let Ford eat it...
I feel for you brother, I would be furious. Did the shop warn you that they didn't line up before cutting them? Have you discussed your displeasure with the result with them? Your best bet might be to use a different valance and have either a new axle back exhaust installed or sleeve the old...
That I can't answer, but I think I remember hearing they changed plugs types at some point not necessarily at model year change. Perhaps change from metal to plastic pan? You should get underneath and look to verify. You would have to know that regardless of brand you choose. The newer style...
I just went through the same decision process and just recieved a Ronin Factory drain valve. I've used Femco and EZ-Drain valves in the past but those are threaded screw in units. The Ronin looks super high quality. Part# X001V01XTH.
New here from Oregon, for all you non-Oregonians, it's pronounced Or-eh-gun,
NOT Or-a-gone!
Lovin my PP Magnetic Magneride! After having an almost identical car sold out from under me after 4 days of negotiation, I worked on this one while it was in transit to a different dealer. Signed papers...
Can someone please explain to me at what point is a car considered a tribute car? I know fake badges aren't it, but do the tribute car builders need to do 75% of the performance, 95%, or is that class of car acceptable to be purely cosmetic? Not trying to ruffle any feathers here, I just am...
