I probably wouldn't do any tighter (higher) than a +35. I think a +40 would get close to rubbing, if not already hit. I have no rubbing with these wheels, they've been great.
Yea, everything cleared easy. The fronts are reaaaaaal tight on the hubs, takes a little effort to get the on and off. But they clear just enough with no spacers.
Tires are 275/35 and 315/35 Conti Extreme Contact DW.
Can't think of anything other than obvious gasket faults. I did run across this thread about the water pump on the 3.7 from back in Oct: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/water-pump.130457/
Might give you some more insight, and includes the shop diagrams and steps.
Sure looks like it's coming from the water pump. If you don't want to get reamed, and have a little mechanical know how, they're pretty easy to pull. Loosen the three screws holding the pulley on, since the belt keeps tension on it. Your tensioner is the pulley just to the bottom right. Put...
Pretty much finished with tweaking the Lund tune, and it's fantastic. No throttle issues, better drivability, easy idling. This is how it is supposed to feel. Still hauls when I get on it, but the power comes on better and smoother, easier to control. The throttle acts as it should, no odd...
Understand being gun shy, I was too. I called VMP right after and asked what they thought may be causing it and got pretty much "I dunno". Started digging around online and found a number of other people with the same issue. If I really get a wild hair up my ass I'll pull the idlers and...
You have to loosen the FEAD bracket and also remove the the water pump belt from the crank pulley. Since the water pump belt is on the front of the crank pulley it traps your blower belt.
The FEAD bracket has three bolts, only the top one has to come completely out. The left side and bottom...
Man your timing is uncanny. I'm downloading my first Lund tune as you posted that. I gave up on VMP, had a really bad experience with them overall. Started talking with Lund and those guys have been very helpful.
Have a set of PP1 wheels off my 17 GT. Factory P Zeros are still on them with 14XXX miles on them. Fronts still have plenty of life, rears are smoked. TPMS and black lug nuts included. Small bit of rash on one of the fronts, not a deep gouge at all. Located in WV, near NoVA/DC/MD. Asking $550.
I've been trying really hard to not blame the tune anymore, thinking I messed something up in the install, but haven't been able to find a single reason. Plus the oddly specific 2250 change over in pedal behavior screams software issue to me. I've been mulling over getting a Lund tune to see...
To be honest, I'm not great at interpreting the logs. I've asked VMP in our correspondence about possible other ideas, and they ignore my questions and just send another tune to try.
I'm using the VMP dual 69mm throttle body.
I have a 17 GT with 15k miles, and about a month ago I installed the VMP Gen 3R kit and did OPG/TG at the same time. The initial tune was a little jerky, and have been datalogging with VMP on getting it smoothed out. That has for the most part been resolved after 4 new tunes, but there is one...
