I've had customers break them on the street with the stock tires, IMO if your going to the track at all regardless of horsepower I'd replace them.

I think I can get past the drone, my main concern is the tuning and if I will be able to make approx. 700 whp on 87 octane. I've seen the Bama car run 10.60 pretty much stock so will this kit get me into the low 8s on street tires? Also I've never been to the track before so I need some type of...

How bad is the drone with this kit?

Same thing I thought and asked when I got called by Ford Racing about the issue. Apparently it's not that simple and there may be a bit more to it than just throwing some new loctite on there. They are going to cover labor and shipping on all the ones I've done so far so thats a plus.
