No way to activate the line lock externally that I can find. Looks like its all strategy controlled. I am almost done with our new add on line lock though. Just finishing up testing now. I had hoped we were gonna be able to use the factory stuff, but no luck.
They will work, but your getting into serious bulge territory, your gonna start losing footprint because a lot of the tire is gonna be wrapped around the side of the wheel. Years ago before great drag radials we used to go small on the wheels on purpose with slicks and a really high horsepower...
You wouldn't have an issue with that tire on a 9.5, it's not ideal but it will work. I'm not a big fan of the way the Racestars look on a S550 with the 305 but that's offset not width.
I think your confusing The R tire with the RP tire. That's the go to tire most of the radial guys are running. But like I said, I have ran them all. Absolutely anything manufactured in a 17 drag tire and the R is the best there is. As Kelly said his auto car has went in the 1.2s on them, and...
I'm not sure who would be telling you the Rs are worse than the old ones. They hook much better, but do not work well after being driven on for long periods of time. The 275 racemasters are also decent, but nothing like the R or a Hoosier slick. Ive used every 17" tire out there and the R is...
The latest revision Procharger tune for the base kit makes decent power, there is not going to be a insane gain switching to a custom tune with that boost pressure etc.. Something else going on in there, for sure log it and see whats happening, that will tell the story.
try the TOB and let us know if that helps, i do find it a bit funny that they always have the same response to the sticking issue. trust me your not the first person to contact them about it.
Same problem I've had with a few of the McLeod units. They are sticking at high RPM. I would contact McLeod and see what they are willing to do for you.
