Yes and no, it's just that the US cars are more affordable in comparison to our salaries but a lot of people do leasing, some manufacturers do leasing at 0,5% or stuff like that :headbonk:. And probably because we are a much smaller country and when you live near a big city then you tend to see...
Spotted by the car wash yesterday. An US Ecoboost with 20" Mustang OEM wheels (I really like those even if they are not staggered). There is a Ford store not that far that has a GT350 outside a DIB one, looks nice :D. I could send a picture nearly every day, american cars (camaro, challenger...
DD is taking a look at it:
Hello Nick,
Thank you for the feedback!
I will speak with our engineering team and see if it's something they can address with an easy modification or something along those lines.
It's a tough balance to choose the right brightness level. If we don't make...
Guys this weekend I was driving in the rain and could see the sidemarkers in shop windows. They look fantastic! But still bright even at day and especially when comparing to the tail lights. I passed near a cop car, they did not say anything so I guess not that tragic, but I wonder if these...
Ya Sirius is great sadly only for US, Canada and part of Mexico, I rarely use DAB as I am always listening to my CDs. Nonetheless the feature is not that bad, the only annoying part is when you have cuts in the connection (even on open road).
Sadly I will have fees as I live in Switzerland :) (not in EU), and we have custom fees for products higher than 65 CHF - ~46 GBP (for non food and non clothing)
Nice, but I think this will also like in Australia pose some legal issues with the blinking stop lights that might create confusion. But who knows:shrug:
I was thinking the same thing Saturday evening when driving and seeing my car in shop windows. It is very bright, but buses and trucks also have their "sidemarkers" and they are also bright. Saw a police car in the opposite lane, but as they were on the move (lights on) I do not know what their...
So I did mine too today, did not have the same working space as Monty but went well too :D
The light housing from the licence plate came very easily out. I went slowly and checked everything as I was doing it so it took me 1,5 hours probably.
Here is the light housing:
The wiring harness...
>0-5kmh is 40CHF (in and outside towns - 20 if highway) >6-10 kmh is a bit higher (120CHF in town, 100 out and 60 on highway) and well higher is pretty much doubled, >25 up and you are sent in front of a judge :D
but our radars are so big even if painted grey that you see them pretty well on...
I wrote DD an email as well to know how they get the light housing from the licence plate unclipped. They say "unclip" the light housing, so it should be easy :headbonk: or maybe Nick can give indications here :clap2::
I found John's tutorial in the french forum, I will try to follow that if...
Here you go:
So the violet parts go into the 2 T-Taps that you have to put on the cable from the licence plate's light. The 2 black ones go to the side markers. The cable is a standard audio speaker cable on which they added the 2 ends, seems well build.
In the installation guide they make...
