You mean this screen. Clicking the Navi button does nothing for me. It even shows OK on the Navigation settings next to Waze but still launches Chinese app.

Mine is rooted but has the same issue. Always stays on the original chinese navi:( Patrick said you need to make sure you reboot the unit after you make the changes in the settings so it saves.

Can't remember now, i might take it apart and check it over the weekend.

PatrickHenninger How do you get the door warning image pop up when a door is opened? Is it supposed to work automatically or needs to be turned on somewhere? I know you have to connect the 2 cables to pins 53and54 which i've done

M button on the right side where volume buttons are. It looked like unit was booted so once i pressed it, it switched to home screen and gave an error that some system app couldn't launch. After i installed s550 launcher from stang site its working OK.

Might be a good idea. I got my unit back up by using buttons on the steering wheel swc, The 3rd app from the bottom is what I Uninstalled, i think thats the original launcher.

Looks like the firmware update from Stangs site didn't work for my unit. I put the .img file on a flash drive, unit picked it up automatically and ran the system update process. After reboot it looks the same as before. Bluetooth still shows "Dail" and km/h. I'm trying the update again from the...

Does this unit allow you to install apk files? If it does you should be able to run older version of waze. I just did a test on my Android 6.0.1 tablet and it installed and opened waze. App file from http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/waze/

Really?:doh: I hope once we get the OS upgraded on the unit Waze would work. I was really looking forward to using Waze on it. rubyredrocket_ on instagram has his unit running waze but his is I5-Tech unit from autohaus.
