It is what it is. If It comes, great. If It doesn’t, life goes on and I am 80k to the plus. It’s a win-win....

So a DORA doesn't guarantee a car? Dealer has my deposit. I see cars ordered after mine (8/29) have a VIN. So, an unscheduled/material hold can die with the model year? Brain surgery is more intuitive than this cluster f.

I would hope even Ford in their infinite wisdom would not hold back on building or shipping because of a press release. It’s like the tail wagging the dog. I hope that after Tuesday the logjam will break and production goes into hyper-speed.

I am fairly new to Mustang 6G. Joined when I ordered my GT500 and have a DUMB question.. How does a question on Embargo Lifted that may help us poor bastards that are waiting for our cars turn into a C8 vs GT slugfest? I see this on a lot of GT500 threads.

If u like the 500 and can afford it, it’s not overpriced. Life is short, enjoy what you enjoy.

Only Ford knows the plans for production and numbers, and they do not talk, never, ever. Went thru the same when I ordered my 2015 GT. Was produced in March 2015 and sat for an additional 2-3 weeks for inspection because of a possible defect in a heat shield on that production run. Plenty of...

Got this from the Ford site configurator. Doubt that the tinted windows would be this dark on an actual GT. Looks sharp. Not sure if this would pass my state inspection. Also, they may frown on a tinted windshield :(
