Thank you! I don't have the CD player on my 19GT 400A so I'll use Wade's advice for that.
How do I do a "system reset"?
UPDATE: I found the System Reset.
How do you get to this display? I guess this is the APIM diagnostics. I need to check if my NAV 119 installed correctly.
How do you do a "master reset" on Sync?
thanks,
Ya know, I have no excuse. I have an Electrical Engineering degree and I have done IT work for the past 38 years, but I just don't read the instructions... My bad.
No wonder my install was so fast. I must have a different set of instructions as my Step 6 says "locate the files in your Downloads directory on your computer".
I now see there are two sets of instructions. One for building the USB and another for installation. thanks!
Mine probably took 35 minutes rather that the 30 I stated. I am using a high performance USB stick. My Sync update was similar at about 30 minutes. Sync showed 3.4 when updated and the maps showed NA 119 when updated.
Yes, but I "un-zipped" the license file and it doesn't like that. After I dropped the complete file into the "MySync" folder it worked. Took 30 minutes to load the maps.
I experienced the same thing this morning.
I find it interesting that Ford, and other car companies, really aren't good at supporting technology. The FordPass app on my phone is also dead and won't run anymore.
I went ahead and bought the AA spared for my 19GT PP1.
I have AAA, but some of the fun roads I drive on are out in nowhere and cell coverage is non-existent.
