NO, unless they price it accordingly.
It's a used car.
They're getting away with calling it new only because it was never registered. Whether it was used by employees or a customer, it's still used. You would just be the first registered owner.
Y'all are makin it too complitated. The first thang I lernt in mechanical trainin was these rules ta fix anathin:
1. ALWAYS use the right tool for the job.
2. A hamma is ALWAYS the right tool.
3. ANATHIN can be used as a hamma.
Only had limited protection using the small felt disks in the past.
Best thing I've tried, CRC Battery Terminal Protector:

In a spray can and has red dye so you know whether you coated all the surfaces. I try to spray some into the ends of the cables too...
Absolutely. Fastener maufacturers publish tables for torque values. Calculations are based on size, tpi, pitch, materials, and lube/no lube. Also for wheels, the torque value takes into account whether the wheels and lugnuts are flat face or cone.
Corrosion has been an age-old problem since the dawn of wet cell batteries. Perhaps is accelerated in the these vehicles? Don't see why it would be though.
Absolute best thing is after cleanup, repair, and reattaching the clamps, apply some battery terminal protectant. Comes in a spray can...
2020 owner's manual calls out extensive idleing as severe duty (pg.407 & 404). Pg.404 indicates that extensive ideling shortens the timer on when the change oil light comes on.
Yes and yes. Especially the starter. Don't know what is involved in retrofitting. My guess is it's too complex to bother with sensors and all.
Edit: In my opinion they suck in hot weather, car gets too hot inside at stoplights. Any time I have rented a car with it, I always disable it on...
The printed owner's manual sucks to look up info. The table of contents and index both suck. Who the heck lists thing by verbs; changing, setting, switching, using, etc.? Normally you would look up a system or component name to look it up. Now I have to figure out if I intend to change, set...
Bingo!
The ONLY way to "confiscate" his car would be through a court order. So yeah, they didn't just show up out of the blue and take his car. That said, I truly feel for the guy. It sucks but ignorance of the law is never an accepted defense. As a business owner, (his channel), he is...
I like both actually, magnetic is such a versatile color. It looks like the silver reflects more light onto the brake caliper. I think the machined surface draws your eye more to the outside of the wheel.
There's folks here that can help you, but they will need more information. Wheel brand and model, offset (ET), backspacing, and what brakes you have (Performance Pack etc.)?
Yeah but now the criminals will learn to flee in reverse! They could get a front wheel drive car and weld the steering straight, then replace the rear suspension with rear wheel steering. Might get a sore neck but better than spending the night in the pokey!
Couldn't hurt to try Locktite, as long as you check it until you know you can trust it, and then maybe also check at every oil change.
Edit: You could also use some marker paint for quick visual checks to verify they are not loosening. That way you also don't risk breaking the Locktite bond by...
The FP kit adds 19 HP from the 460 (which was obtained on 93 octane). The kit sounded good to me because of torque gains. Not worth it to me for my usage senario though. Just got over the temptation.
Edit: Thank you everyone for all the great insights! This is an awesome place to learn. The...
