I put this in the UK section but I'm guessing as you guys in the US have had your S550s for a lot longer, you may have the answers I'm looking for.
Looks like my driver's side fog light surround has been hit by a stone and being pretty flimsy plastic, it has just shattered.
Done a search but...
I'm guessing it got hit by a stone. Plastic is pretty cheap and brittle but I'd hazard a guess that it's expensive, hard to get and difficult to replace.
I went on one of those super car drive days last Friday at Upper Heyford. It was a Christmas present from my kids.
I was to drive a Lamborghini, an Aston DB9 and a Ferrari but I saw that they had a beautiful 1968 GT500 Fastback so I swapped the Fezza for that.
Loved the Mustang and the...
Just seen it on this site for what seems a bargain 40 odd quid.

This has happened 3 times in my 8 months of ownership. No SD means I lose the Sat Nav but it occurred to me today that as I lose the iPod connected to the USB slot next to the SD card slot that maybe there is a fault in that little panel.
Anyone else had the same problem?
Finally found I can do this if I select my phone for streaming music, otherwise its mute unless I disconnect my phone and try to hear instructions through it's tinny speaker.
Is there a way to hear the instructions through the car's stereo whilst listening to the radio?
25 miles on the M25 at 70 to 60 with a tiny bit of overtaking speed.
Trip computer reset once on motorway. Got 37mpg out of my 5.0.
Just wondered what ecoboost owners are getting under the same conditions?
Or am I blind.
Have not made any meetings bar one since getting my car in January, all due to work.
Now off a bit and thought I need a small excuse for a drive out so I'll check for Meets but can't find mention of any.
Mods, if there isn't one, wouldn't a sticky be a good idea?
Ta.
I'm in Surrey about 15 miles East of Think Ford Guildford where I bought my car, but I don't fancy letting them service it.
Was thinking of using Bill Shepherd but seeing as he charges ÂŁ250 just for an oil change, I don't fancy getting ripped off. It's only a Mustang not a Lambo lol
Any...
I posted this pic on the UK forum. It's of a wiring connector on the air intake side of the engine bay.
Some tape and a roughly cut piece of plastic pipe/wire tidy.
Any ideas? Thanks
I was in LA last month and did a bit of a Google but no parts shops seemed to be in the vicinity.
Is it all online these days?
Would love to spend a few hours looking at Mustang bits and buy stuff I can get in my case.
H pipe wouldn't fit lol.
But maybe an oil separator and rear...
Hello folks.
I'm currently residing in my girlfriends apartment driving her VW CC whilst my Mustang GT sits outside my place in the UK.
She's coming into LAX Virgin America tonight and said to pick her up curbside but l'll have to wait somewhere until she calls.
Any idea how and...
Went to visit my girlfriend but sadly her mum is very ill so she has had to fly to see her with the rest of her family .
So I'm sitting here in her apartment on me tod with her VW Passat CC for company.
I miss her and I'm missing my Mustang. Funny to think I have a rare car in the UK and...
Torrential rain on my 50 mile jaunt home last night so at no time would I have had the windows open yet have just been out to the car and they are both down.
Doesn't look like it happened whilst it was still raining as thankfully the car is dry inside.
The keyfob has been in my jeans in my...
Before I try to sort myself, has anyone had any luck with claiming on the warranty for the really thin paint, especially on the base colours like my own Comp Orange?

I have just given my CO V8 a good and careful wash and have found two chips on the paintwork.
One is almost in the middle of the bonnet, about 2mm round, down to the primer and the other is on the drivers door edge near the handle. I suspect I may have done that one in the dark pulling up to...
Quite literally just now on my way to work. Actually thought it was a slide but just parked up and there's a big silver gash on my rear black alloy.
Exactly 2 months into ownership.
I have been so ultra careful with parking as well.
