The salesman did actually offer to teach me how to drive stick but I wasn't prepared to pay for anything if something were to go wrong. In any event, my current plan is to buy a beater to learn stick on and hopefully build a project car with a 5 or 6-speed.
I went with the 10-speed because 1.) I never had the chance to learn how to drive stick but I still want to and 2.) I heard way too many negative things about the MT-82 for me to consider it anyway. The 10-speeds are pretty quick down the quarter mile as well, that's also why I wanted it over...
I've noticed on my car that if I go into Sport mode and make the car aggressively downshift but hold the RPMs a bit by lightly putting my foot on the gas for a few seconds and then letting off I can make the exhaust burble almost on demand.
Would also like to know the answer to the above. Blowing out the cats if I were to go boosted is a huge concern for me. I'm looking for identical HP numbers that Aaron is posting.
It's been the same deal with Nvidia's 3000 series graphics cards. Really hard to come by unless you eyeball the inventory for sites and some brick-and-mortar stores all day.
