I tried it again and this time was able to move the pivot arm the mirror is attached to. At first all I was moving was the mirror in that first ball socket. I thought it would break so didn't want to move it any more. It's all good now.

Same issue here. Just got my 2021 GT and I can't get it to tilt up high enough. 6' 4" and seat all the way down. I'm probably going to switch to a rear view camera mirror like I had in my previous car.
