I've had the same problem for about a year and was going to get it looked at next service. If it does it on a hot day I have to put it on manual cooling until it fixes itself.
Not sure about the standard Mustang nuts as I have aftermarket wheels. I'm sure my "Gnome" spare wheel came with the appropriate wheel nuts when I got it from Tempe Tyres, because I have them in a bag in the boot with the spare.
Mine took 3 days and they said they were getting good at it now as they had done a few. Can't take the dash out in 6 hours. Better check the service docket.
Mine has been perfect since it was replaced. The fan slowdown so you can hear on the hands free isn't as noticeable as the sudden increase in noise when it goes back to full speed so yes, that was my only thought as well.

I suppose I shouldn't criticize. May have come undone on that road myself a while back, a bit further up the hill. In my defense, I was considerably younger and far more indestrucable back then.
Well got the car back and all seems well. It's working and no rattles. Same part number as you Drewbo
Can't find any marks from the dash having been out either so they have done well. :clap2:
And its gone again.
Failed first 12 months ago and they regassed it and added the dye. Now it has gone again they have ordered the parts. Fortunately they have had plenty of practice at replacing them so I'm not too concerned about the dash out issue.
Mine must be a slow leak as it seems to...
