  1. What is your daily driver?

I drive BIG trks for a living so I don't really DD any one of mine specific. But, I catch myself driving my 20' Durango SRT as the quick ride up to the store or pick up food vs taking the GT350 or HellCat.
  2. GT350's at Lakeland Florida car show

No R's and no new 20' GT500's either. Over 200 Mustangs in attendance.
  3. GT350's at Lakeland Florida car show

Big Carlisle Auction show plus Mopars and Corvettes. All told over 1000 cars between the car shows, auction cars and simply for sale.
  4. Longevity of the Voodoo Motor

Correct. Break in procedure followed, but like others have said, not getting on it until it's warmed up and fluid levels and pressures are optimal readings. I just bought a 20' Durango SRT that had 7mi on it. The break in on it is more for the transmission and drive axles(all wheel drive) than...
  5. Longevity of the Voodoo Motor

I just hit 30k on my 17'. No consumption issues whatsoever. I put 5000mi on it in 22 days on a road trip last year. Maintained properly and you're good to go..
  6. Post Pictures of Your Car

I just added a 2020 Durango SRT. It's a gigglefest to drive. 475hp and ALL Wheel drive. Faster than my HellCat up to about 60-65.
  7. Which one is the BEST state to register your car?

Florida is the best of the 3 states I've had vehicles tagged. Virginia & North Carolina the other 2. Florida is no front tag state. No state inspections. And personal property tax is calculated to be way less than other states. Insurance can be another issue all together tho.
  8. Daily Driver

98-Corvette 16-HellCat Charger 17-Shelby GT350 20-Durango SRT The 5500lb soccer mom SUV is technically the DD, but I try to drive all 4 equally.
  9. Can you drive a stick?

Old guy here, but I like many of my generation(X) learned how to drive on a stick. So, endless forms of manuals, some on the column too and I drive BIG trucks with 10 and 14 speeds, but aren't synchronized. I haven't run into a clutch vehicle that I eventually couldn't figure out.
  10. Anyone consider or come from a C7 Grandsport or Hellcat?

I've owned all 3. 17' C7 Grand Sport. Sold(Divorce) I presently own 17' GT350 and 16' HellCat Charger. All 3 VERY DIFFERENT. Just totally different animals based on S/C vs N/A and manual vs auto. HC is a pig. Very heavy. I wouldn't even put a HC, Charger or Challenger into a choice vs...
  11. How do you make your GT350 stand out?

I did my cosmetic mods not so much as to make the GT350 stand out, but to match another car I own. Not a huge fan of stripes, so I wrapped the hood, and got the calipers painted red.
  12. Want to buy a 350 but I'm skeptical

And quite common on the automotive forums. The people that own these cars are niche', the people who own and belong to these forums are even more miniscule. There was a big scuttlebutt on the corvette forums too about cracked wheels on mostly 17/18 C7 Grandsports and Z06's. It's a small...
  13. Want to buy a 350 but I'm skeptical

17' here with 34k miles. In October I did 4800mi roadtrip from Florida to Utah(and back) with oil change in New Mexico. Just checked the oil yesterday and it's right on the line. No consumption issues here. Shelby at Monument Valley Oct 1, 2019
  14. Shelby GT350 Garage Photos

No Garage Mahal here. Simply safe and secure in a garage.
  15. Most forgiving SC car

Yes. I see these cars in garages for months while the white stuff is falling outside. I couldn't do it. I'm too old for the cold. I agree on the new car purchases and pricing. It pains me to see the sweet spot of the cars I like msrp at $70k. I buy used mostly. 2-3 yrs after the hoopla dies...
  16. Most forgiving SC car

That's why you get both. HellCat for straight line speed and GT350 for corners.
  17. GT350 to a C7 Z06 3LZ

Great time to be a C7 buyer. I'm actively shopping for either a GS or Z. Models a plenty all over Car Gurus. I'm seeing Grandsports in the low 50's and Z's in the high 50's. Trim and mileage plus region all factor in. Wait til the C8 starts delivering to customers. More trades on top of a...
  18. Had doubts about Florida, but......

The Endless Summer tag gets tricky as only 5 number/letter configurations are allowed. I tried everything under the Sun on my 17' GT350 to no avail. All taken. Settled for the inside job H5967, the chassis #. Should have it next week. My HellCat tag is technically incorrect. It's from my 14...
  19. Has anyone replaced their Ricaros?

I agree. I have Corbeau A4's in my C5 and have 1000mi trips a plenty, so after only owning my Shelby for 2 weeks I wondered how the Recaros would fare as I embarked on a 4800mi trip over 22 days. I'm 6-1, 185lbs and I was very comfortable both for my back and knees.
