I agree with this, also consider the continued slow weakening of the US dollar and Im not expecting much of a price incease at all.
But the dealers still have a lot of 2017 stock to shift so you can expect them to continue to warn of large increases on 2018 models
Has anyone spotted any specs relating to the diff ratio for the 2018 manual
With the new manual box being a wide ratio box I'm hoping we will now get the 3.7 ratio (same a PP1 in USA) rather than the 3.5 (standard GT in USA) that's been the norm for all export manuals so far
LCT starts at 65000 (not including on roads) for this year so depending on your spec you may avoid it, Im expecting not to have to pay that, and Im betting ford au will be trying real hard to it avoid as much as possible as well
After looking at the official UK option price list, I believe above price list is just a high estimate of what they will cost, hell the forged wheels are way to high in comparison to the UK
British pound = Aust dollar
Mag ride is 1333.33...
This is pretty much what I was expecting but with the added bonus of being able to get the Recarro seats as well
The five spoke forged wheels look interesting, my guess is around $1700 au
Note we still don't get the option of a higher spec trim level like the UK
I'm guessing the active exhaust will be standard as well as the LCD display, just like it is in UK.
I think all export models will have the active exhaust as it's a simple way of fine tuning the exhaust db level for each individual country ie no need to assume our active exhaust will be as...
That's what you may hope it will be (to help justify buying your 2017) but that would be a 26% increase.
The UK (right hand drive) went up about 7.5%, but you have to remember the British pound has dropped a lot lately since brexit.
Canada hardly went up at all
I would expect a price increase...
OK so let's re phrase the question, does anyone know the difference between the pp1 springs and the mag ride springs (ie is the mag ride firmer and is it shorter)
I assume pp2 would be totally different again with its track capability's it would be noticeably firmer and lower
That torque figure has to be wrong at 527nm that is less than the current model
Ford USA are showing a 5% increase in torque on the new engine
I'm also hoping the 100kg increase in kerb weight on the new brochure is a mistake as well, as that would be a deal breaker
This talk of an auto 10 speed GT350 confuses me, can anyone point to an automatic gearbox anywhere that can handle 8000 plus rpm. Simply not going to happen in the GT350.
A DCT maybe, but not the new 10 speed auto
Anyone got an idea on what they mean by "innovative stabilizer bars" ??
I'm guessing we can rule out active sway bars, perhaps they are introducing hollow sway bars
I doubt any auto could withstand 8000 plus rpm which is why I'm guessing you will never see an auto behind the voodoo
A DSG is a totally different matter
